What happens if something completely unexpected threatens their happiness?

The Dhoni family had been happily living in their new home for almost a year when tragedy struck.

The spot fixing scandal in the IPL had become the biggest news in the country and Mahi's name had somehow come up in the mess.

Sakshi was extremely disturbed by all the accusations and the media, but Cheeku had consoled her by telling her that no one could touch them because they didn't do anything wrong.

Little Cheeku had surprised everyone by his maturity in handling the situation at home while Mahi had chosen the path of ignorance.

The upcoming Champions Trophy tournament was stressful enough without having to worry about what the media was calling him.

Dada, Sachin Paaji and Jammy Bhai had been worried about their kid, but Mahi had refused to talk to anyone, not even Sonu.

The man might have at least opened up to his wife, if only she wasn't already so troubled by all the events.

Everyone was worried about the captain because they all knew exactly what it meant to him to be playing for his country.

Mahi was being accused of being dishonest when he had always emphasised on the important of being honest.

The fact that he had dropped a lot of the senior players from the squad hadn't helped either and his teammates were making their displeasure known in public.

Cheeku was particularly annoyed at all this and he vowed to never talk to any of them unless they properly apologised to his Bhaiya.

Mahi obviously never said anything, but his loved ones knew that the man must have been extremely hurt by their actions.

Since the World Cup, somehow it was only the captain who understood that the team needed a complete overhaul.

Initially Mahi tried his best to enforce stricter rules and get everyone on board his vision for the team's future.

When no one took him seriously then the captain had no option but to drop them from the team to accommodate newer talent.

They were understandably hurt by the decision, but none of them even considered talking to their captain about how they felt before going out to talk to the media.

Mahi felt like he had failed as a captain because he couldn't create a safe space for his teammates to talk to him about their displeasure.

He started feeling like he had let his Dada and Jammy Bhai down because the same players had always talked to them in similar situations.

Mahi obviously never talked to anyone about it as he kept himself busy with taking care of everyone and protecting the team from the media.
