CHAPTER 3- FRIEND

Next day, First went to school only to find out Khaotung was absent. Still First kept looking at khao's empty desk.
“Hi”
First turned his head to see who said hi to him. It was a boy. First was puzzled as he didn't recognize the boy. The boy then sat beside First.
“Who are you? Why are you sitting here?” First's caused a sudden change in that boy's expression became gloomy all of a sudden after a minute he replied.
“I'm boom. you sat next to me yesterday…so I thought..”
“Oh! You are my deskmate” First said and they didn't interact further. First's mind was occupied by Khaotung. Nothing was going in First's favor today. Khao was absent then he couldn't find his way around school, when he finally found the cafeteria he couldn't buy food as he doesn't have a meal card, but yesterday he didn't have any problems. Khaotung might be his lucky charm. That's when First noticed a familiar face, his deskmate. That boy was sitting alone in the corner and having his lunch.

First felt like he was seeing a version of himself, in middle school when he found out the people who he thought were his friends only hang out with him for his name and money he started to distance himself from everyone. He was always alone not because he liked that but because he didn't want to get hurt again. But seeing Boom he couldn't stay back and that's when it hit him yesterday Boom helped him that's why everything was easy. He only focused on Khaotung, that's why he didn't remember Boom at first.

As he was looking at Boom he saw a few kids were bullying him. Although he hates to get involved in others' business he couldn't simply walk away.
“What are you doing?” First asked
“So you are the new kid?” “Stay away from it” the bullies said rudely.
“What if I won't” First has always received loyal treatment no matter who he encountered but that doesn't mean he was weak.
“Oh! Our little omega has a knight now. But you don't look like an alpha!” “Maybe he is a beta who just wants a piece of the mighty omega, ha ha” Bullies started talking dirt.
“Well if I forward this video to the principal I don't know who is gonna get what” As First showed his phone to them they got scared and left.

“You didn't have to.. I'm used to it by now’ Boom said, his head down staring at his food.
“ Why are you giving that bad boy attitude to me? Let me tell you I'm not attracted to you like that and nor will be. Moreover I have someone I like” First said as he sat down besides Boom.
“Wow, that really boosts my pride…” Boom said.
First couldn't help but laugh. “What I meant is omega won't be attracted to other omegas, right?” As soon as Boom heard it he jumped up from his seat “what???”
“Can you please sit down?” After hearing First Boom sat down.
“I have never met an omega. Are you telling the truth?” Boom was so curious.
“Why would I lie?” First said.
“Now I think it explains a lot.. Why did you change schools and..” Boom was saying but First stopped him.
“No!! That's not it. Except I almost got raped during my first heat being an omega never bought trouble for me” First said it such a casual way but boom couldn't believe it at all.

“I don't even want to think about it. My parents are right about marking.” Boom's statement made First confused so Boom then explained everything. Then, during middle school break he got his first heat as an omega but his parents worried a lot about him so they decided to mark him to protect him from getting trouble because of his pheromone. Once an omega or alpha gets marked only their partner can sense their pheromones, it's a lifetime commitment. So Boom's parents along with his father's boss's family agreed the alpha son will mark Boom and both will get married once they reach the age. Boom didn't like the idea but he had no choice but to make it worse. According to him his Alpha is a beat because as soon as Boom entered the room that day he just came over and marked boom and left. Apparently Boom didn't even get a chance to see his face.

“Why were the kids bullying you? If you don't mind” First couldn't help his curiosity.
“The whole school knows. When school started after that break I told about this to one of my close friends and the next thing I know is the whole school was talking about it. And during last year it got worse and here I'm.” Boom's voice was breaking as he spoke.
“From now on I will protect you and if you want to you can help me get together with my boyfriend” First said bluntly.
“Your boyfriend?? He goes here? What happened? Why did you break up? Who?” Boom was asking a lot of questions.

“And I thought I talked a lot. To answer your question, he is in our class. I came here for him but there is a correction: we didn't break up because we haven't got together yet. And it's Khaotung.” after hearing this from First Boom was speechless.
“So you are seeing The Khaotung” boom wanted to confirm.
“We are not seeing YET. What I meant was "I'm here for my future boyfriend who is gonna fall head over heels for me, although he hasn't met me yet.” Seeing First's confidence for a moment, Boom thought First was crazy. He just walked away to class but now he wasn't alone he had a crazy friend following him. As for First , it seems like his love for Khaotung is actually bringing all good things in his life. He might have made a true friend for the first time.
Next day as soon as First walked in the class he saw Khaotung all bruised up. Khaotung was at his seat First ran towards him and cupped his face.

“What happened to you? Who hit you? Khao...”
