CHAPTER8- CHANGES

Although Khaotung played dumb in front of Mix he wasn't all clueless. It was four months ago Khaotung noticed something to be exact that something was very evident to him. It was a morning and Mix came back after his ‘extra hours at work’ he was covered in alpha pheromone. As a beta he wasn't able to sense it but for a dominant alpha like Khaotung it was unbearable. But seeing how his brother has been happy recently Khaotung didn't dare to ask anything. He thought it might be a mistake or coincidence but it continued and the intensity increased day by day. 

An alpha covers his partner in his pheromone as a sign to other alphas, basically it is a warning to stay away from his partner. Although Khaotung and Mix are like brothers but they were not related by blood so Khaotung also received the unspoken threat through pheromones. At first Khaotung was worried because that pheromones made it clear that whoever Mix's partner is a dominant alpha and who is no joke. As soon as Earth entered the principal office that day Khaotung knew he was Mix's partner. But his relationship with First made him confused. 

At first Khaotung thought Earth is using Mix because he already has a son or Earth has to be a sugar daddy. But eventually when everything cleared out and he got to know that First and Earth are brothers he was actually relieved because his brother won't be hurt by it. Then when Mix explained his relation with Earth to Khaotung, Khaotung listened silently. He could sense Mix was trying hard to label his relationship at the same time his eyes were sparkling when he talked about Earth. 

For Khaotung love is fictional as he never saw a good example of it in his life. Both his parents showed him the nasty side of the world lust, betrayal, money, etc. For his parents Khaotung was a mistake of their lust. Although Khaotung never met his alpha father, he had seen his omega father mating with countless alphas. The reason was always either lust or money. And that's why he hates Omega's, according to him alpha and omega are only interested in each other for two reasons one physical need second monetary need or status. And to think this was the only lesson his father taught him before abandoning Khaotung really held it tight. 

The next day at school Khaotung noticed someone had kept a sandwich and canned coffee on his desk. He didn't have to ask anyone who it was because the caramel fragrance was all over his table. He just threw them without a single word. It wasn't the only thing he found chocolate on his locker, he found new shoes at the place of his old one which had seen four seasons. Two days passed like this and Khaotung was at his limit. So he decided to confront First. 

First was talking with Boom. They seemed close and friendly. When they noticed Khaotung beside them, their laughter faded. Boom had a puzzled face where First seemed calm. “What are you upto?” Khaotung asked First before First could reply Khaotung added to his sentence “Don't play dumb” After a moment of silence First said “can't I pamper my boyfriend?” Khaotung was furious now he took a step closer to First and kept his eyes locked with First's. Boom tried to reason but Khaotung was not in the mood to listen. “I AM NOT YOUR BOYFRIEND!!!” 

“But yesterday you said I'm your omega… doesn't that mean we are dai…” First was saying but Khaotung stopped him and said “No…  it was my fault to save a brainless stupid like you. Now listen up I don't like you in fact I hate your kind so stop this nonsense and don't bother me again.” Then he walked away. 

“It's okay First, he doesn't deserve you…” Boom said in an attempt to comfort First but he was surprised to see First smiling looking at Khaotung. “I don't know about that but what I know is he is the one I like. My destined mate” First said. “But he just said he hates you” Boom worried “oh dummy you didn't hear it right he said he hates my kind, not me. And as for me he said he doesn't like me… yet.” Hearing First's words Boom didn't know how to reply to that so he just hit First and said “you are the dummy…  stupid in love”

Later whenever First approached Khaotung he often ignored First. Khaotung acted as if First doesn't exist. Anything given by First was instantly destroyed and Khaotung didn't even hold back himself from scolding First. First felt terrible because he wasn't expecting Khaotung to be this harsh. Khaotung even started to skip school which made First feel even worse.

On the other hand ever since that day Mix hadn't gone to work and Earth couldn't get a hold of him. Earth still visited the bar every night in hope only to be disappointed and Mix's phone has been switched off ever since. Earth even thought about finding Mix's address and going there but that was the only thing Mix asked him when they started everything. Mix wanted Earth to respect Mix's personal space; he didn't want Earth ever showing up at his door uninvited.

Almost a week passed and Earth was feeling anxious and angry. He had decided if Mix doesn't show up at work today then he will go to Mix's house at this point he doesn't care about anything else. For First past two to three days has been nothing but worse. And Khaotung's behavior got worse and worse. And at home Earth looked like he was about to die in sorrow. First really didn't know what to do as two of the most important people in his life were acting the worst.

After school First sat on the bus stop thinking about all this. He didn't want to go home but he didn't have any other place to go. As it was Friday, boom went out of town with his parents so he didn't have anyone to talk to either. It was almost seven in the evening and he was still at the bus stop. That's when someone taped his shoulders.

Earth was waiting for Mix at the bar counter. Suddenly he was greeted by someone from behind.
