Angels jaw dropped at the messages "ella here's your phone i think you answer him."
Eleanor scoffed and grabbed her phone, her eyes widen at the last text.

yeah goodbye. I'll see you later tn."I swear to God," Eleanor muttered, exhaling sharply as her fingers clenched the steering wheel.
"Do we have to go home right now?" Angel asked, her tone reluctant.
"Yes, because of Chris. I can tell he's drunk just by his texts," Eleanor scoffed, rolling her eyes as she restarted the car. The engine growled to life, and without another word, they were on their way.
The drive was tense but filled with quiet exchanges until they pulled into the driveway. Both girls quickly got out, their movements sharp and determined. Eleanor slammed the car door shut, her pace brisk as she stormed inside. Angel trailed behind her, barely managing to close the front door before Eleanor was halfway down the hall, heading straight for Chris's room.
Just as she reached for the door, Matt stepped out, blocking her way.
"What are you doing?" he asked, his brow furrowing.
"Get out of my way," she snapped, pushing past him without hesitation.
Inside the room, Chris lay sprawled on his bed, oblivious to her presence until her voice shattered the silence.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Eleanor's tone was sharp, almost vibrating with anger.
Chris barely looked at her. His unfocused eyes drifted to the ceiling as her words dissolved into white noise. He didn't even flinch, his silence acting as fuel for her growing frustration.
"Forget it!" she spat, her voice cracking with exasperation. She spun on her heel and stormed out, slamming the door so hard the walls seemed to shudder.
The noise drew everyone's attention. Matt, Nick, Nate, and Angel sat around the kitchen table, their heads snapping toward her as she marched through the house. Nate stifled a laugh but said nothing, knowing he'd be next in the firing line if he spoke up.
"What the hell was that about?" Matt asked, his tone cautious.
"Mind your own business!" Eleanor shouted, disappearing up the stairs. Her footsteps echoed loudly as she stomped her way to her room, slamming that door shut too.
The kitchen fell silent, save for the low hum of the refrigerator. Tension hung heavy in the air, unspoken questions flickering between them.
"So... anyone gonna check on her?" Matt finally broke the silence, glancing around the table.
"What about Chris?" Nate added, his voice laced with annoyance.
"If you're so worried, you check on him," Angel shot back, leaving the kitchen with a huff.
