The unexpected meet

Reyaansh's pov :-

"Maa are you done?" I came down looking after maa and Kiki.

"Yes beta let's go." Maa and Kiki came out of the room while Ayaansh whistled his way down the stairs.

"Bhai please don't be an old grumpy man in front of her family." They laughed.

"Are you calling me old?" I narrowed my eyes at her. She giggled and we finally left for Aahana's house. As ordered by my Belle I was going to meet her family to prove my love to them. I rolled my eyes at the thought....suddenly the driver stopped the car only for me to realize that we have reached at her house. 

I turned to look at the gate, her mom and brother was standing at the gate. Well I did inform Aahana when we left so they could be prepared beforehand and now they were standing at the gate, smiling warmly and waving at us.

 Aahana's mom, a graceful woman with a kind face, was beaming with excitement, while her brother looked a bit more reserved, but still friendly. I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of trepidation wash over me. This was it – the moment of truth. I glanced at Maa, Kiki, and Ayaansh, who were all looking at me with encouraging smiles. I smiled back, trying to appear more confident than I felt. 

"Showtime," I whispered to myself, as I opened the door and stepped out of the car.

As I walked towards the gate, Aahana's mom walked towards me "Reyaansh, beta, it's so lovely to finally meet you!" She held me at arm's length, her eyes shining with excitement. "You're even more handsome than Aahana described!"

I blushed, feeling a bit self-conscious, but her warmth put me at ease. Aahana's brother, Kartik nodded at me in greeting, his expression a bit more serious, but still friendly. I returned the nod, trying to appear confident. Maa, Kiki, and Ayaansh followed behind me, exchanging greetings with Aahana's family. As we entered the house, I couldn't help but feel a sense of nervous anticipation.

As I entered the room I looked around to find Aahana's dad and her grandparents sitting on the sofa, her mom gestured us to take a seat opposite them. I can feel her dad's stern gaze on me but my eyes were busy finding the love of my life, my Belle.

'Where are you babygirl?' I wondered in my mind.

Kiki cleared her throat pulling my attention back to Mr. Singhania who was staring at me now. What is this old man's problem? Can't a man get a glimpse of his love? I thought to myself as I forced a smile and nodded at Mr. Singhania, trying to appear respectful and composed. But my eyes continued to scan the room, searching for Aahana. 

Where was she? Why wasn't she sitting with her family?

A faint smell of Aahana's perfume came from behind me.....I can always recognize her from her smell. I turned to see Aahana standing in the doorway, a radiant smile on her face.

 Our eyes met, and I felt my heart skip a beat. I couldn't help but smile back at her, feeling a sense of relief and joy. But my gaze was quickly pulled back to Mr. Singhania, who was still staring at me with an intensity that made me feel like I was under a microscope. 

I took a deep breath and prepared myself for what was to come, hoping that I could win over Aahana's family and secure their blessing for our union. Little did I know, the next few minutes would be a battle of wits and charm.

Mr. Singhania began to speak, his voice firm and authoritative. "So, Reyaansh, I hear you're interested in marrying my daughter. I must say, we're impressed by your background and achievements, but we need to know more about your intentions and capabilities." He leaned forward, his eyes piercing. "Tell me, what makes you think you're worthy of Aahana's hand?"
