Aahana's pov :-

Naina and Kartik bhai returned home as husband and wife, their arrival marked by the traditional welcoming ceremony. The house was filled with laughter, music, and the scent of fresh flowers as everyone celebrated the couple's new beginning. Naina's face glowed with happiness, her eyes reflecting the love she held for Kartik bhai. They took blessings from the elders, and soon after, the family gathered for the after-wedding festivities.

Dhruv, despite his earlier tension, joined in the celebrations, maintaining a seemingly genuine demeanor. He engaged in a conversation with mom and dad while my eyes travelled towards Reyaansh who was calculating his every move. After spending some time participating in the rituals and celebrations, Dhruv made his exit, leaving the house with a cryptic promise to see everyone soon.

"Aahana do you really think Dhruv changed?" Aarohi stood beside me, her voice soft yet tinged with concern.

I sighed, my eyes fixed on the stars above. "I want to believe that he has, Aarohi. He apologized, and he's been making an effort to be better. But Reyaansh... he doesn't trust him. And I don't know if I should either."

Aarohi turned to face me, her expression serious. "Reyaansh bhaiya isn't the type to mistrust someone without a reason. If he feels this way about Dhruv, maybe you should be cautious too."

I nodded, feeling a sense of unease settle in my chest. "I know. But there's something about Dhruv's apologies, his behavior... it feels sincere. But then again, maybe I'm just seeing what I want to see."

Aarohi placed a hand on my shoulder, offering a reassuring squeeze. "Just be careful. Sometimes, people change on the surface, but the core remains the same."

I swallowed hard, my mind a whirl of conflicting emotions. "I just don't want to doubt him, but Reyaansh's words keep echoing in my mind."

Aarohi smiled gently. "You're strong, Aahana. Trust your instincts, but don't ignore the signs. Reyaansh cares about you, and he's just trying to protect you."

I nodded, appreciating Aarohi's words of wisdom. "Thank you, Aarohi. I needed to hear that."

Once everyone departed to their own rooms I was left alone with Reyaansh.

"So Belle...." Reyaansh strolled towards me and snaked his arms around my waist. Hs penetrating gaze studied me for a few seconds before he rested is head against mine.

"Ansh..." I breathed out his name, feeling the weight of everything that had happened today settle between us. My hands found their way to his chest, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath my fingertips grounding me in the moment.

He didn't respond immediately, just held me there, our breaths mingling in the small space between us. The world outside seemed to disappear, leaving only the two of us, tangled in a web of emotions too complex to unravel.

"I can't stop thinking about you," Reyaansh finally whispered, his voice laced with a raw honesty that made my heart skip a beat. "No matter how hard I try, you're always in my mind, Belle. It's driving me fucking insane."

His words sent a shiver down my spine, and I found myself leaning into him, craving the comfort and security that his presence always seemed to bring. But along with that comfort came a fear—a fear of the unknown, of the depth of the emotions that were starting to stir within me.

"Reyaansh, I..." I started, but he silenced me with a soft kiss, his lips brushing against mine in a way that made my knees go weak. The kiss was gentle, like a feather that rushed against my lips.
