Part 69

Allison's POV

It soon became December and everyone in the order was getting increasingly stressed. War was coming and no one had heard anything from Harry or Hermione, all we knew was that after the wedding the trio apparated to somewhere in London before going to number 12 Grimmauld place and stayed there for multiple nights before they realised that RAB was Regulus Arcturus Black, Sirius' younger brother.

Regulus switched out the real locket for a fake one with a note that reads.

"To the Dark Lord
I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in the hope that when you meet your match you will be mortal once more.
R.A.B."

To say that Sirius was shocked that his brother, a snake, had done something so lion-like was an understatement, he went into a total lockdown of regret, regret of how he treated his brother, regret of how he never helped save his brother from the house of black, regret of how he never saw the good in his own brother.

But Regulus never actually destroyed the locket, he couldn't so he sent Kreacher to destroy it, but he couldn't either until it got in the hands of Mundungus Fetcher who gave it to Dolores Umbridge. The trio then decided it would be an amazing idea to break into the ministry and steal it back. When I heard that Ron kissed a woman trying to get her to save their 'kids' when in the body of the poor woman's husband, and while kissing morphed back into his own body as her husband appeared, then Ron proceeded to run off, I was weak. It's only Ron that could happen too.

Then the three of them kept on moving around, never staying in once place for too long and with someone wearing the locket at all times but switching every couple of days as it tends to affect you attitude making you resentful, vulgar, and vain. Sadly, when Ron stormed away, he was wearing the locket and began accusing Harry and Hermione to be seeing each other, when in his fit of anger, he left them (well really he got kicked out) and came back to the order. And now when he's thinking back to it, he doesn't even know why he thought that they never did anything loving together. All they did was walk together, they never actually kissed, never hugged, they didn't do anything, and it took Ron about a week to realise that.

But the locket that they have is a Horcrux which cannot be destroyed, although Horcruxes can only be destroyed in specific circumstances that allow its complete and utter destruction. Leading the sword of gryffindor, which was left for Harry in Dumbledores will, can destroy the locket.

We know that out of all horcruxes 3 out of 7 have been destroyed. The thing is no one actually knows what the other three horcruxes are. But we all know that Harry Potter himself is a Horcrux and will either die to save the wizard world or will have to kill Voldemort himself.

The first Horcrux was Tom Riddles diary which was destroyed by a Basalisk Fang in the chamber of secrets. The second Horcux was the Gaunt Ring which Dumbledore destroyed himself. And the last horcux that needs to be destroyed is the Locket which Harry and Hermione currently have.

The thing with Horcruxes is that Voldemort decided to make certain objects that have some important meaning to him, them, they don't seem to have any type of importance to anyone except him. No one has any idea what they are, there isn't a pattern between them. However they all have had some connection to him.

Molly and Mattheo knew their father had created Horcruxes yet neither of them knew what they were. They both stated "Nagini has been important to him for as long as we can remember, so Nagini is probably a Horcrux.

But that did start a conversation that none of us wanted to get into and was started by none other than Ron Weasley himself. "What's Nagini, is it a thing?"
