Third Person POV

The hall was silent.

Grief filled the room not leaving any room for relief. No one was relieved that the war was over, too many people had died, too many people had died.

And for anyone to say that they were relived the war had ended was a liar. The war had been brewing for decades with the first war never actually ending, only simmering down until recent years.

Mass casualties, death and destruction coated Hogwarts, the once "safest place in the world" was no longer the "safest place in the world". The lie that Dumbledore had, had been proven wrong once again. The innocent students bodies who coated the room had no family to go back to, parents had no children to protect. And families were once again broken.

Lives had been lost:

Remus Lupin
Nymphadora Tonks
Severus Snape
Colin Creevey
Lavender Brown

5 names out of hundreds that should still be alive. 5 people who had a life to live no matter how long or short it was going to be. 5 people who will never wake up again. 5 people who will never speak again. 5 people who will never get to see what impact that truly had. 5 people gone.

Allison gasps, taking a breath that feels like it had been waiting for eternity. Slowly opening her eyes for its eternal slumber and quietly calling out, for who? Not even she knows that, but calling out for someone none the less.

Her faint calls get the attention of the quiet hall, nurses, students, families rushing over to the once lifeless girl who was now awake. Evelyn runs to her sisters side, taking her sisters body into her own "your safe. Thank Merlin I thought I lost you" she whispers.

"I saw mother" Allison replies, no further continuation of the conversation occurs, both girls knowing that this is a conversation to be delt with later.

"Where's Mattheo? Tell me he's safe" She asks, her mind immediately running to the boy who she loved, the boy who held her heart, the boy who she would love for eternity.

A smile appears on Evelyn's face, tugging the corner of her lips she begins to speak "He's safe, a few bruises but he's safe. He's been with you since you got here but left a couple minutes ago, it seemed important"

"Can I go, I really need to see him" Allison says while swinging her legs to the side and beginning to stand up, before a gentle hand reaches for her shoulder, pulling her to sit back down "You can go once Madam Promfrey is happy with you, she's litteraly walking down here to see you now"

With a sigh Allison sits back down, crossing her legs while waiting for the matron to appear "I feel fine" she huffs out before Madam Promfrey appears.

"You have us quite the fright dear" She says before doing a quick spell to see if and whag damages the girl had sustained during the battle, "It seems that your going to be fine, maybe a headache for the next couple days but that along with some cuts and bruises you'll be fine" and with a smile she left.

Allison immediately turned back around to Evelyn "Can I?" And with a short nod from her sister, she was out the hall within seconds. Running into the courtyard Allison saw Mattheo walking back towards the Great Hall, quickening her pace she began to hurdle towards her boyfriend before jumping on top of him, making the two of them fall onto the ground.

"You're safe" she whispers, hugging him tightly while a tear slowly rolled down her cheek. Mattheo, sitting the two of them up so she was now sitting on his lap, began checking her face, arms, and legs for the cuts from the wall that landed on her hours prior.

"Princess, I literally don't know what to say to you" he mumbles, gazing into her eyes as she looks up and meets his, before she whispers;

"Then don't say anything"

A/N - Ok I know this is really short but the next chapters are going to be published after the next two months as I have exams and need to study.

But I can promise that they will not follow on to this part of the story, they will be the major events that Allison and Mattheo experience together.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this rather small part,

Until next time,
