"She's in a lot of pain." Mr Kendall says as Arizona walks towards Aria.
"Okay. Uh, ruby kendall, age 9.Fever, tenderness over mcburney's point." Aria informed her handing over the scans.
"All right, appendix. Let me check your belly." Arizona smiled softly at the little girl as she check her stomach. Ruby let out a loud groan of pain while Arizona nodded.
"Oh, yeah. You have a very angry appendix." Arizona says looking at Ruby and then to her parents.
"That's surgery? She needs surgery?" Her mother questioned looking between both of the surgeons.
"Yes, she does, but the good news is, It's the easiest surgery in the world.I mean, she's a baby surgeon and she does them all the time." Arizona smiled while the mother looked slightly stressed.
"You're going to let her do the surgery?" Her mother questioned as she began to panic which Aria decided not to take personally.
"Oh, no, no, no, no. No, of course not. I'm gonna do it. I'm kinda fabulous at it. And, ruby, you are gonna be outta here by tomorrow With a teeny, tiny little scar and a very good excuse to have your parents feed you ice cream every night of the week.Dr. Grey, admit her to peds and make sure she's comfortable while we get an O.R. ready.

Aria had headed to the elevator while she awaited for the door opening. Once the elevator doors finally opened Aria was met with an image that would haunt her from the rest of her life. Alex, the man she was in love with laid before her on the floor. He was surrounded by his own blood from a gunshot wound on his side.Alex grunted out in pain which snapped Aria out of her thoughts quickly. Running over to to him while she knelt over him checking his pulse. Her eyes fell upon his wound finding no sign of the bullet. Aria quickly pulled off her lab coat applying pressure to Alex's wound causing him to grunt out in pain from the pressure. Her eyes began filling up at the sight of him lying there falling out of consciousness.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Alex Hey it's Aria stay awake for me, Baby. Don't you dare close your eyes. You need to stay awake we're going to get you through this." Aria called out to him letting her own emotions poor out before she began calling out for help. However the elevator door had shut and she couldn't move or he would lose more blood.

The elevator doors open causing Aria to snap her head in the direction of the doors. Mark had hurried into the elevator covering Lexie as he froze at the sight of Aria. "He's been shot. I don't know how but he's been shot." Aria shook out before Mark and Lexie looked at her."Help me!" Aria practically screamed at the two of them before Mark ran to the opposite side of Alex's body. "He needs help. Please help him. I think the bullet is still in there. I couldn't find an exit wound. He's going to die isn't he. I can't move him he won't move." Aria cried out before Mark looked at her.
"He is not going to die. Aria I know you're scared but I need you to help me. You need to help him." Mark said trying to calm down his friend before getting ready to move him. He couldn't imagine what the girl was going through in that moment she trying to stop the man she loved from bleeding out.
Mark had sent Lexie to grab any supplies she could find while he and Aria transferred Alex to a conference room. Mark laid him on the table before Lexie came rushing in. Aria stood beside Alex stroking his hair trying to wake him up.
"I grabbed everything I could think of." Lexie announced watching her older sister closely before passing the supplies to Mark.
"I am... So...Incredibly pissed off right now." Alex grunted out looking at Aria with his teeth gritted. His pain become unbearable while Aria continued to keep his attention on her.
