Aria groaned loudly as Alex laid beside her making random noises before she grabbed her pillow hitting him continuously until he finally awoke flipping her beside him. "Have you gone mad?" Alex asked looking at his girlfriend who was glaring at him.

"Since when did you sleep talk?" She growled at him while Alex looked at her.

"I don't sleep talk nor do I snore." He scoffed before Aria began hearing the voice again however this time it was louder. And this time it caught Alex attention while the couple exchanged a look. "I think you owe me an apology." He began smirking before Aria whacked him with the pillow again.

Aria quickly dashed out of the room running into Derek who gave her a strange glance before smiling. The girl shot him one back before Alex began chasing after her.

"Did you just yawn? Was that a yawn?" Mark snaps his head up looking at all of the residents.

"Don't tell us you're tired after getting to sleep all day." Teddy tells them causing Jackson and Alex to scoff lightly at the attending.

"It's not as easy as it sounds." April says quietly which causes Bailey to look at each of them.

"Not easy? Not...When I was a resident, I actually worked for a living.I did every other night call for five years." Bailey began with one of her many stories of her great residency days.

"There were days I didn't go home for 72 hours. I loved it." Stark added causing a low grunt from Aria which only Alex and Meredith heard.

"As you trudged through the snow while you whittled your own scalpels." Alex mumbles to which the residents snickered while Aria buried her face in his neck.

"Sorry, I didn't quite catch that, Karev." Stark says to Alex as the residents try to hide their laughter.

"Uh, Karev, I need you to follow up on my post-ops,and here, take this research, divide out all the fistula cases." Bailey tells Alex who nods lightly while Mark talks to Aria.

"Avery and Little Grey, Hunt is waiting for you in the pit." Teddy tells Lexie and Jackson who both quickly nod their heads.

"All right. Try not to screw up our patients. Good night. And good luck." Callie says to the residents who give one final nod to their attending's.

"We'll be over at the bar.Try not to need us." He tells them as the residents go to their designated locations.

"What are you doing in the attendings' lounge? You could get in trouble," April admonished as she stepped inside, her eyes darting over to Aria, Alex, and Meredith sprawled across the mismatched chairs, clearly enjoying a rare moment of downtime.

"Pizza?" Alex replied, holding up a greasy cardboard box as if it were a trophy. His casual demeanor earned him an exasperated eye roll from April.

"I have stupid teenage patients who Super Glued themselves together so their parents can't tear them apart," she said, crossing her arms in frustration. The weight of the day pressed on her shoulders, and the thought of peeling those kids apart without inflicting serious harm made her stomach turn. Meredith and Aria exchanged knowing glances, their expressions a mix of sympathy and amusement.

"Mm! That sounds romantic," Meredith chimed in, a teasing lilt in her voice, clearly enjoying the absurdity of the situation.

"Yeah, more like moronic. I have no idea how to get them apart without taking off half their skin," April replied, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

"Try acetone," Alex suggested with a smirk, clearly amused by the chaos.

April shot him a glare, her frustration bubbling to the surface. "Try going away! Aria or Meredith, any ideas?" she pressed, turning her focus on the two women.
