RULES

1. Be kind. While feedback is encouraged, and honesty is welcomed, be mindful of how you speak to others. Please, thank you, and compliments go a long way. Respecting each other's boundaries is imperative. Racism, bigotry, homophobia, and harassment will get you blocked.

2. Be original. BlackStoriesUnite has zero tolerance for plagiarism or stories written by ai. We want the brain power of human beings, and original bodies of work please. Do not steal entire scenes from other people's books, or attempt to translate another person's words. That is theft.

3. Only present stories that follow Wattpad's rules and guidelines.

4. No spamming. Yes, comment and interact but DO NOT post the same message over and over and over again. It does not benefit anyone. Just answer the questions as they've been asked, and you will be fine.

FRIENDLY SUGGESTIONS

1. Keep your word. If you tell someone that you will read their book if they read yours (read for read/ vote for vote) then please do so.

2. Be patient. Give people some time to follow you back and to reciprocate your support. Everyone has busy lives filled with other responsibilities. Some people just haven't gotten around to everyone yet.

3. Broadcast your boundaries on your account. If you have very specific needs, or pet peeves that seem to happen a lot on this platform, I recommend putting them in your bio so newcomers are informed.
