On usual days waking up was hell but today is my first day of being a cop. At the academy i became great friends with Lucy Chen, John Nolan, and
Jackson West!

"Morning North." West greeted
"Morning West." I greeted back
I took a seat in between him and Lucy. Nolan walking in taking the seat at the edge.
"Alright, alright settle down. So ok, we got some new blood this morning,and some pushing the expiration date." everyone laughed "after 6 months in the academy you have the right to be here, but you have to prove to prove yourself to stay, the way we do things matters, protocol and tradition are the meddle from which every cop in this city is forged, understand?" Sergeant Grey asked
"Yes sir." We all answered
"Sit down." He said "so we're gonna play the T.O match game, our contestants are Lucy Chen, hotshot who made her 1st arrest before clocking in for work, legacy Jackson West, who broke all his dads records at the academy, Lopez 2.0 North who managed to stop 2 armed robbers during the academy, and John Nolan, who was born before disco dive. And the winners are Officer Bradford you get hotshot, Officer Lopez 1.0 you get legacy, Officer Rodz you get 2.0,leaving Officer Bishop to ride with the 40 year old rookie. Now hear me todays your first day, don't let it be your last. Forget the academy, listen to your T.Os, they'll teach you the way it should be done. That's it, All right be safe out there." Grey finished
"Hey I'm Nick, well Rodriguez." Nick said
"North!" I stated
He put the body cam on me and handed me the guns.
"This is your shop. Do not call it a car. It is where you work, 1st you check the exterior for damage, any scraps, nicks, or dents log em in, has the suspect left anything? Money? Drugs? A dookie?" Nick said
I followed all procedures and we were on the way.
"7-Adam-12 we have noise complaints, sending locations now." The radio said
"7-Adam-12 Roger." Nick replied
"Can I ask you something?" I asked
"Yes I'm dating someone." Nick answered
"No I wasn't gonna ask that, besides I have my eyes set on someone else." I said
"Ooh, okay let's go." Nick said as he got out of the car
"LAPD OPEN UP." Nick shouted as he banged the door
"Yo was good, y'all wanna buy some weed?" A teenager asked
"You're under arrest, for consumption with intention to sell." I said as I put the cuffs around him.
We got back to the station at the same time my sister and West did.
"How's it going?" I asked
