Stacey and Ann got back to Ann's house. Stacey felt defeated and exhausted after leaving the Detective. Her day did not end the way it started.

"Please tell me why Ann?, Why is this happening to me and why now?" Stacey asked frustrated.

"Oh, sweetie, I wish I had the answers, I really do."

"Are you alright to sleep in the apartment tonight or should I make up the guest room for you?" asked Ann.

"The apartment, I don't care what happens tonight. I plan on closing my eyes and just sleeping through anything and everything." Stacey rubbed her eyes and started to yawn as she made her way to the back door.

"Before you go Stace" Ann walked up to Stacey and handed her 2 small pills.

"These are just to help you get that deep sleep." Ann said.

"You know I hate pills but right now I will take any help I can get." Stacey walked out the door and made her way to her apartment.

As Stacey walked to her door, she admired Ann's beautiful garden as she had done before only this time she noticed something by her door that she had not before. On the left of her door was a bush with White Lilies.

Stacey turned back to look at Ann's house and saw her friend standing at her kitchen window looking back at her. Ann waved at her then moved away from the window.

Ann stood at her kitchen window looking at her friend stopped at the apartment door and thought, "What now?" Ann had hoped that night would be a quiet, drama free night. Ann was getting tired of all this. She loved her friend, but she was starting to regret having her friend move into the apartment but would never tell Stacey that.

Stacey walked into her apartment and locked the door, Stacey stood staring at the door while her mind was racing.

"Why have I never noticed that bush before, has it always been there?" Stacey said this out loud to no one.

"Ok so now you are losing your mind, Ann wouldn't be doing this to me, would she?"

"No, she couldn't be, she's always been there for me since college and any way how would she get the flowers into my old house and put the flowers in the windowsill?, we are close but not that close that I would give her a key to my house."

Stacey then realised that Ann did have a key to her now apartment because she owned it. Stacey planned to get a new lock the next day and to change the lock without letting her friend know.

Stacey made herself a cup of coffee and realised she had not eaten that day, so she made herself a light snack and sat down on her sofa to eat. Stacey looked at the pills Ann had given her and decided not to take them, she was tired already anyway and didn't think she would have any trouble falling asleep that night.

"Finally, the lights are off." Thought Ann. It took longer than she thought it would but finally they are off. "I thought she would never go to sleep, with all that pacing she did." Ann thought to herself.

Ann was standing at her upstairs bedroom window where she had a perfect view of Stacey's apartment, she could look into the apartment and see Stacey perfectly and Stacey never closed her curtains so that was helpful too.

Ann started to wonder why Stacey stood at the apartment door for a while earlier.

"Damn it!" Said Ann out loud as she remembered the White Lily bush she had planted at the apartment door.

"Why didn't I pull that out before she moved in?" Ann thought to herself.

Stacey started to wake up and rolled over to look at her phone, she saw it was late in the morning and was grateful she had actually slept in for a change. "If anything did happen last night, I wouldn't know apparently because I did not wake up." Thought Stacey as she got out of bed.
