Prologue Part Three: Kaede Akamatsu

Ruv examined the girl who had just walked into the room. She was a blonde wearing a lot of pink, a white backpack, and a weird Silver hairclip in her hair.

?????: Hey... Are you okay...? You look kinda pale...? [Ruv still didn't respond] HEY!!!! [This caused Ruv to yelp in shock]

Ruv: AH!!!

?????: Jeez, do you scream at everyone who tries to talk to you?!

Ruv: Uh... Err... Sorry... I was just... spaced out...

?????: I understand... I'm sorry too... It's just... Out of all the places I could've been, why does it have to be back here?!

Ruv: Dah...? So you're a former student here too?

?????: Well, not really... I'm a former student somewhere else... Hope's Peak just reminds me too much of that place...

Ruv: [Thinking] Wait a minute... If I was dead and then came back here, could that mean...? [Outloud] Did you also die?

?????: What...?

Ruv: I was dead, and then I was brought back here... Is it the same for you?

?????: Uh... [She was silent for a few seconds before speaking up] Y-Yes...

Ruv: Really...? How?

?????: I... I don't wanna talk about it...

Ruv: Oh. That's okay. [Thinking] Who am I to try and get people to talk when they don't want to, anyway? [Outloud} So what's your name? Do you have an ultimate, too?

Kaede: Oh! That's right! My name is Kaede Akamatsu! I'm the Ultimate Pianist! 

Kaede: What's your name?

Ruv: My name is Ruvyzvat. I'm the Ultimate Chess Master.

Kaede: [Having a hard time pronouncing Ruv's name] Ru... Ruv... Ruvy... Ruvyz... sat?

Ruv: I know... It's a difficult name to pronounce... Please just call me Ruv.

Kaede: Ah! Okay! That's much easier to pronounce! So, you're the Ultimate Chess Master? Does that mean you play chess?

Ruv: Yep. Won every tournament I've ever partook in. What about you? Ultimate Pianist sounds like an interesting talent.

Kaede: Yep! I play the piano! Been playing it ever since I was a kid! I was even dubbed Piano Freak! Sometimes, I would play the piano so much that I would forget to eat and sleep!

Ruv: ...That's a little concerning...

Kaede: All that hard work paid off after I be one of the top piano players! Beethoven, Wolfgang, Chopin! You name it, I can play it!

Ruv: That's amazing! Hey... uh... Did you also get a weird note on your desk when you woke up?

Kaede: Yeah... [She pulled out the note and gave it to Ruv, who read it]

"To the Ultimate Pianist, Kaede Akamatsu...

Congratulations! You and 21 others have been given the opportunity at a second chance at life! Isn't that incredible?! There might be some others students out in the hallways, so whenever you get the chance, why don't you stop by and say hi to them? Once your done getting acquainted with your fellow classmates, please gather in the gym! Hope to see you there!

Ruv: [Thinking] THis note... It's the same as mine, but addressed to Kaede...

Kaede: It's signed by... them... [She shuddered]

Ruv: [Thinking] Them...? Could she be talking about those Monokub things...? [Outloud] You know them?

Kaede: Yes... And I despise them... Almost as much as I despise Monokuma...

Ruv: [Thinking] So I was right...  Those Monokub things are related to Monokuma... [Outloud] We should get outt here nd find some other people. Maybe they might know what to do.

Kaede: Yeah... Good idea... [The two left the room and went into the hallway]

Ruv: [Thinking] The hallway... Ugly as ever... Just as I remember it... [He then heard two voices]

???????: I still don't understand why we have to be back here, or how we're even alive...

???????: You're worrying about this too much, Green Bean! I'm fine with being back here as long as I get to see funny things happen to people! [Kaede heard the two voices and stood there in shock and horror]

???????: Huh... K-Kaede...?
