Prologue Part Four: Rantaro Amami and Kokichi Ouma

Kaede: It... It can't be real... [Kaede was silenced... The mere shock of seeing... him... The one who she killed... She wanted to talk, but zero words were forming]

Ruv: [Tapping Kaede's shoulder] K-Kaede...? Are you okay...? [Kaede thought that maybe if she just stayed silent, the green-haired boy would go away, and as an added bonus, the purple-haired one would, too] Eh... No use in bothering someone who won't talk? [He turned his attention to the two strangers in front of him] So you two woke up here too, dah?

Avacado: Yes... 

Grape Panta: [Cheerfully] Yep!

Ruv: Interesting... What are your names and ultimates?

Rantaro: My name is Rantaro Amami.

Rantaro:  About my talent, well... don't laugh... but... [Whisper-like tone] I don't remember... 

Ruv: [Thinking] How does someone not remember their own talent? [He shrugged off his concern] Oh well. [Outloud] I see. I'm Ruv. The Ultimate Chess Master.

Rantaro: Interesting! It's a bit embarrassing to be the only one not able to remember their talent, but I'm sure it'll come to me eventually!

Grape Panta: In the meantime, can I call you the Ultimate Green Bean?

Rantaro: I would prefer if you didn't, Kokichi...

Kokichi: Why not, Green Bean?

Rantaro: The hell did I just say?! [The purple-haired boy, whose name turned out to be Kokichi, went over to Rantaro and started poking his face, much to the Avacado's annoyance] 

Rantaro: Cut it out, Kokichi! [He gently slapped away Kokichi's hand]

Kokichi: [Fakes tears] Oww! That hurt, Green Bean! My arm! I think you broke it!

Rantaro: Oh, you'll be fine! Anyway, you seem like a pretty chill person, Ruv? I look forward to getting to know you, partner! 

Ruv: Thanks. [He looked at Kaede, who was still silent] [Thinking] She's been pretty quiet ever since Rantaro and Kokichi showed up...

Kokichi: Hey! If Green Bean gets to talk about himself, I should, too?

Rantaro: [Sighs] Fine... Go ahead... I swear, if I didn't know any better, I would've thrown you against the wall by now!

Kokichi: Aww! You don't mean that, Green Bean!

Rantaro: Just hurry up and introduce yourself!

Kokichi: I'm Kokichi Ouma! The Ultimate Supreme Leader!

Ruv: Supreme leader?! For real?!

Kokichi: Yep! I'm the leader of a super secret evil organization!

Ruv: Really? What's the name of this organization? 

Kokichi: If I tell you, it won't be a secret, idiot!

Ruv: O-Okay... [Thinking] What a brat...

Kokichi: After all, I could be lying about everything! I am a liar, after all!

Ruv: Fine then... [Thinking] I think I agree with Rantaro! I'm all in with throwing Kokichi against the wall!

Rantaro: [He noticed that Kaede has been quiet the whole time] Hey Kaede, you've been quiet this whole time. Are you okay?

Kaede: I'm... I'm...

Rantaro: You're what...?

Kaede: I'm sorry...

Rantaro: You're sorry? For what?

Kaede: I killed you... I deserved to die, even if I suffered the most horrible execution... I'm so sorry... [She got on her knees and started crying]

Ruv: W-What...?

Rantaro: Kaede... You-- [Before he could consult Kaede, Kokichi covered his mouth] MMPH!!!!

Kokichi: Come on! We need some good ol' angst here! [Rantaro rolled his eyes, thinking he would talk to Kaede later. That's when two more voices were heard]

???: YOU'VE GOT BE FUCKIN' KIDDING ME!!!! WHY IS HE HERE?!!!!

??????: Ms. Iruma, please wait!
