As we sat down and ordered food, we joked around with each other. When we got our food, that's when we started to lay the questions down thick.
"What promotion did you get?" Leo asked, going for a sip of his drink. "Well, you know how the ceo died?" I asked, trying to beat around the bush a bit. "Yeah, I had to help you through it, remember?" He said in a caring manner.
"Well, Tae doesn't want to be the ceo, so he left the position to me." I said nonchalantly.
"Wait, so you didn't tell me your best friend that you were going to be the owner of the company?" Leo said, raising his voice slightly.
" Yeah, but I don't feel like talking about that anymore, so can we please drop it." I asked a little desperately.
"Yes, of course we can! How are you and this mystery guy?" Leo asked.
"Not very good. I've fallen too hard for him." I said, clutching my shirt dramatically.
"You're so dramatic. But tell me everything!" He said after laughing at me.
"Well, we've been kinda hooking up and hanging out for a while. The night we started was at that fancy party you took me to. His smell and laugh were so addictive. We just kept on seeing each other, and I started to like him. Then my dad died, and I realized I needed to settle down. He just felt like the perfect person to settle with. I honestly think I might have fucked up. We were close before we started to mess around, but now I'm not sure if he wants anything exclusive, you know?" I started my rant about the situation.
" Yeah, I get it. But I'm sure you'll both figure it out. This is the first time you were seriously trying to be loyal to one person. Who is this guy anyway? do I know him?" Leo asked, leaning in closer to me since he was intrigued.
" Yeah, it's Seungmin." I said with a slight smile.
" OH my god, that's so cute! But in all honesty, I've never seen Seungmin be romantically interested in anyone. He has always treated you differently than my other friends, though. He's the type to fall in love on accident. He doesn't look for love." Leo explained.
"Okay, that's enough about me. How are things going with Wolf Boy?" I asked, failing to wiggle my eyebrows, which made Leo laugh.
"Not very well. It's getting harder to hide that I like him, and I got very jealous last night. I'm scared that I'll tell him how I feel, and it will ruin our friendship. It's really scary to think about." Leo said, changing his happy mood.
" I mean, I get it, but he would be stupid not to like you. You're a whole package!" I said, raising my voice a little at the end. Leo laughed.
" Well, let's change the subject. I don't want to think too much about it. Tats is going to work at that cafe we loved so much." Leo said, changing the subject.
"Doesn't Jeongin go there after long days? I asked.
Our conversation smoothly went along until we left. The car ride was calming. When we made it to the dorms, I could feel my heart sink. I remembered what happened this morning and felt a little sick to my stomach. I said goodbye to Leo and was about to pull out of the driveway before I got a text.
It was from Seungmin. I wanted to ignore him. I really did, but I couldn't. He told me to stay outside and wait for him. I parked my car and waited. I was on my phone when I saw Seungmin walk out of the dorm. He was wearing some sweat pants and a zip-up. I don't know how him coming to see me is "Time to think," but whatever. He got into the car and just sat quietly.
"Hey, um -" I was cut off by Seungmin putting a hand on my shoulder. "Let's not, please. I just need to hang out with you."
"Okay, where do you want to go?" I asked, kinda shaking him off my shoulder. I was a little upset even though we were never exclusive.
