Taemin began walking out the door, with Jae behind him. Taemin looked at her.
Jae nodded giving him the go. And off he ran towards the entrance, pushing all the zombies towards the ground Jae who was following behind managed to get out of the store. Taemin was on the ground with the rest of the zombies "Agh-"
"Get up I need you to come with me!" Jae said as she grabbed Taemin's arm and helped him up. Taemin got up "Okay..???" He began running off with her. Jae grabbed her walkie-talkie and began speaking to it.
"Im out of the store! Come get us!"
Taemin just followed wherever she went, he wasn't thinking where she might go. Then a van came up towards them, quickly and they both stopped. The van parked in front of them. Jae dragged Taemin over to the back "Let's get on, you can trust us!"
"Um.."
"C'mon!" Jae grabbed his arm again and dragged him on, taemin got on, hesitantly but he did.
"And who's this??" One of the people inside the van said as he closed the door. The van immediately began driving off at a high speed. Everyone sat down to be safe inside the back.
"Our new zombie human thing! Or whatever Hoon calls them" Jae said.
"Oh, those" He looked at Taemin closely but kept his distance. Taemin at this point was starting to regret his decision "You're not gonna kill me...are you?"
"Probably not! I'm not sure what we do with you guys...but someone who works with people your kind told me to bring them over if I ever saw one".
'Terrifying, are they going to experiment on me??? Hell no I would rather be shot instead' Taemin began panicking 'I should've minded my own business-'
The road back was pretty awkward for Taemin and filled with anxiety, he didn't know what was about to happen to him.
[30 minutes later]
They came to a stop finally, the van didn't have any windows from behind so Taemin couldn't tell what was going on. The van doors opened and he could see some motion outside.
"Im sorry...uh..."
"Tae"
'Tae, I promise we don't mean any harm, buuuuutt.." she grabbed his hands and cuffed them "I appreciate you helping me back there, You'll be in good hands I promise"
Taemin sighed "Yeah.."
Jae walked Taemin out of the van, there were some guards around making sure no zombie managed to get in. He looked around and there was what seemed to be a huge hospital and around it was a wall, still seeming to be in progress, but looked safe enough to not let any zombies in, it was a nice area, there was grass and trees around
'Wow, wonder who 'rules' this base...probably a power greedy man..' Taemin was led inside the hospital by some guards. on their way, there seemed to be people around, chatting, sitting, or doing whatever, it almost made Taemin forget an apocalypse was happening. He was led to the right side and up an elevator, They reached the floor, and the elevator opened and revealed a dark area, but it was lit up by some neon lights so it wasn't completely dark. They led Taemin to a room, as they walked towards the room he noticed other rooms with people in them by looking through the small window they had. 'are those...'
His handcuffs were taken off and he was put inside that room. They locked the door and walked back into the elevator. Taemin looked around, it was a hospital room, of course, it seemed to be neat, and untouched by zombies. Taemin sat down on the bed, he looked out the window 'I don't know what's going on..but..I hope they don't torture me somehow' he sighed 'I really should've just stayed put' he laid down on the bed and closed his eyes 'I'll just sleep it off, maybe I'm dreaming..' he got comfortable on the bed and slept through the night.
[Next day]
Taemin woke up the next day. He opened his eyes slowly and sat up, he looked around slightly confused "Oh... that's right..I was captured" he got off the bed and looked out the window, he was placed in a room to the far end so he could see the back yard of the place, it was filled with people, and now that it was daytime he could see a vegetable garden being made 'oh wow, they have a garden, they're organized here...unlike some' he was impressed 'makes me wonder who leads this place' he walked over to his door and looked through the window, he saw others walking around outside and was even more confused "What..??" He looked at the door knob and tried to open it, to his surprise, the door opened and was able to go outside his room. Taemin carefully looked around and at the people 'Their skin...are they like me??' He noticed some people looked pretty bad but others were just left with bite marks. He decided to gather some more information on what this place was, so he walked up to the first person he saw which was a lady who seemed to be around his age.
"Excuse me"
She turned and looked at the other "Hm?"
"Would you be able to tell me exactly what this place is..? I just got here last night"
"Oh so you're brand new, well, im not sure how to explain it, I only was brought here a few days ago"
"Ah, I see"
"All I know is that they are keeping us half-zombie half-humans in here for some tests and experiments"
"Experiments?? So I was right"
"You sound concerned, there isn't anything to worry about though..kinda"
"Kinda?? What do you mean by kinda?"
"Were pretty much experimented on but not in like those horror movies kinda way, you know what I mean?"
"Like torture and that stuff?"
"Yeah, the guy who takes care of us said that they're trying to see if we can be turned back to normal since there are so many of us"
"Ah, good to know that at least, and what's the downside of this?"
"Well...we don't have much time, yesterday, there was this guy like us, he went full zombie mode and they had to kill him...we might turn into one sooner or later... it's scary to think about"
"That's..." Tawmin began thinking "...Thanks for the info"
"Mhm, no problem, that guy I mentioned earlier should've checked up on you by now but who knows where he is, if you want to know more you could try asking him maybe"
"Yeah, good idea, thanks again" He waved, walked off, and started exploring the floor 'so at any time...I can turn fully zombie?? How would I know when that happens..??' He began to panic again, he was so lost in thought he ended up just taking laps around the floor, eventually, he was stopped by someone calling out to him.
"Hey! You there! The tall guy!"
Taemin looked behind him, his thoughts being interrupted by the voice calling out to him.
