"What I did after that is a bit blurry to me, I was under so much distress, my emotions were all mixed up.." Taemin sighed and then looked at Hoon. "Oh and uh..sorry if I rambled too much.."
"No its okay, im glad you trust me enough to tell me.." Hoon looked up at him "This all happened not so long ago too...you probably still feel like a mess huh?"
"Yeah...pretty much, there's never a day that goes by where I'm not thinking about it..."
Hoon sighed 'I want to help him...any way I can, I must find a way quickly..ill work harder, for Taemin and the rest'
"I didn't mean to bring the mood down...so...how about we talk about something else?" Taemin looked at him.
"Oh? Like what?"
"Hm..." Taemin thought for a few seconds "Hey how about this, if I was human would you date me if I asked you out now?" Taemin chuckled.
"Hmm..would i..?...I would"
"Wait really?? Why??"
"Good question~ I don't know...maybe it's because your very kind to me, or cause we go on walks a lot at night and day, we've talked a lot about ourselves, and everytime we do I always want to know more about you" Hoon smiled. Taemin looked at Hoon for a moment before looking away.
"Awww did I get you embarrassed~" Hoon teased
"Ahem! No, not one bit, it's good to know that..I um..."
Hoon chuckled "You know flirt a lot with me but I know how to do it back~"
"Clearly.." Taemin laughed
'His laugh is so nice...I dont think I've ever seen him laugh like this before..' Hoon smiled softly.

[Present time]
"So that's why...thats why I did what I did...because you told me that and I...I just had to hurry up and save you...save all of you from turning into those things..."
Hoon began crying. Taemin quickly hugged him.
'Ah...I feel so dumb...I should've known it was because of me...he really does...care about me..im glad and great full to you, Hoon, but thats why I cant lose you...'
Hoon hugged him back and cried onto his shirt. Alittle while longer and Hoon was passed out in Taemin's arms.
Taemin slowly set him back down on the bed and tucked him in his blanket.
"rest good okay?" He said quietly and got up, he began to leave the room and hoped that Hoon would get well soon.
About a few days later Hoon was feeling better, he was ready to go back to his job and help others as much as he could.
Hoon was placing on his shoes while sitting down on the bed 'I hope nothing bad happened while I was gone' he sighed 'and...looks like I'll have to keep my research to a minimum, I haven't been able to find much however...and it's stressing me out...well..its not like anyone could just easily make something to cure the virus...not even me...but I still have to try, no matter what' he got up from the bed and began walking towards the door. He was on the same floor where the Half zombie humans were so he was immideatly back to work. 'I need to thank Taemin for keeping an eye out for me, I wonder where he is' Hoon looked around the floor. He continued walking till he finally saw him 'there he is!! my prince charming~' he giggled to himself and dashed over to him "Taeeee"
Taemin looked over
"Oh, hey Hoon, you look more exited than usual"
"Im feeling normal, so, how are you today?"
"Im feeling pretty good, I talked to a few people, wich is rare nowadays"
"I see I see"
"So your back to work?"
"Mhm~ can't be slacking off at a time like this"
"True...but remember to take it easy okayyy?" Taemin said in an almost Scolding tone.
"I will, promise" Hoon smiled
"Good, I don't know what I would do without my favorite scientist, I may just die...-again"
Hoon chuckled "Oh by the way...thanks for taking care of me Tae, you really didn't have to worry about me as much as you did, but, thank you...you made me feel 100 times better!~"
Taemin smiled and nodded 'I'm happy I could do that for Hoon, after all that he's taken care of me, I should repay him as much as I can'
The two returned to normal after that week. They continued having their nightly and daily walks whenever they could, talked about eachother, the past, the present and future. Growing even closer than before.

(A month later)
Another meeting was hosted at the base. Jae, Hoon, and Taemin showed up, bright and early to discuss the new news.
"Alright today is the deadline, as we've discussed before in last week's meeting...I hope you guys have studied our plan well"
"We have! Don't worry Ko!!" Jae said.
"Then I can safely say you guys are prepared, yes?" Ko looked at them all, they all nodded in agreement.
"Then there's that, tonight you guys leave to go get info outta Dae, and return, make sure you don't cause a scene, whatsoever, we can't risk being caught, we're only getting info"
And with that everyone began getting prepared for the night that day. They made sure to pack in guns and other things they may need in case they run into a bunch of zombies.
[Night time]
Hoon and Taemin were getting on back of the van. Taemin went in first and lent a hand towards Hoon.
Hoon grabbed it and pulled himself up the van "thank you~"
"No problem, shortie"
"Hey!!"
"Alright were locked and loaded!! It's time for us to go!!" Jae said with enthusiasm.
"Just make sure notnto drive around crazy okay Jae??? Your driving scares me.." Hoon said
"No promises, but you guys will be fineeee" she said smiling and without a warning she began driving off as soon as the gate opened.
"Ack!!-" both Taemin and Hoon feel down on the van floor. Taemin fell down against the doors behind hoon so he immediately grabbed him and made him slide infront of hismelf before Hoon's head hit the doors aswell. "Phew-"
"What did I just say?!" Hoon said angirly, but then looked behind "Ah! Tae! Are you okay???"
"Yeah- just alittle bump on the head, I don't feel as much pain but you probably would've been given a concussion if you hit the doors"
"I didn't crush you did i??"
"No, im all good"
"Okay good, your so strong Tae!" Hoon smiled, Taemin got a little embarrassed at the compliment but smiled back.
