-sawyer~.
(Third person)
Sawyer stopped off the bustling buss, adjusting her head band and smoothing her dress. She had just a few blocks to walk to reach the café where she worked. The air was warm and humid. And could feel the sweat trickling down her back. As she walked, she noticed the hustle and bustle of the city around her. street vendors called out to passersby's, and sound of traffic filled air and jazz music
Inside the cafe, sawyer was greeted by the familiar smell of freshly brewed coffee and the cheerful chatter of patrons. She quickly tied her apron and stepped behind the counter, she greeted her coworker Mary. The sun streamed in through the large front windows, casting warm shafts of light across the room. Sawyer began to prepare the days orders, carefully measuring out coffee grounds and steaming milk she couldn't help but notice that the cafe was especially busy todayAs sawyer was refilling the sugar bowls, she heard the chime of the little bell above the door. She looked up to see a handsome gentleman walking in, friendly smile on his face. He glanced around the cafe before his gaze settled sawyer behind the counter as he grins widely
Sawyer greeted the man with a smile "good morning! What can I get for you today?"
The returned her smile and approached the counter
He glanced up at the menu board above sawyers head before speaking. "I'll have a cup of coffee, black, and a slice of that lemon cake there" he, said still smiling pointing to the display caseA few girls where whispering and her coworker Mary was staring
Sawyer nodded and got to work. "Comin right up," she said, pouring the coffee into a mug and settling it on the counter. She reached into the display case and pulled out a slice of lemon cake, placing it on a small plate.
She brought both items over to the man, who had seated himself at of the tables by the window
The man took a sip of his coffee and smiled "Mind if I Chat with you for a bit? I find you intriguing."sawyer was a bit taken aback by the comment, but she smiled politely. "Of course, I'd be happy to chat," she replied calmly
Alastor extended his hand towards sawyer "pleasure to meet you, my dear quite the pleasure! My name is Alastor"
Alastor grip was firm and confident, and he held eye contact with herSawyer returned the handshake, feeling a little flustered by Alastor's attention "nice to meet you Alastor. I'm sawyer"
Alastor leaned back in his chair and took another sip of his coffee. "Now I can't help but wonder, have you ever heard of me before?" He required, his eyes never leaving sawyers face.Sawyers eyes widened as she realized who Alastor was "wait, are you....are you THE Alastor? The famous radio host?"
Alastor chuckled, clearly pleased that she had recognized him "The one and only." He leaned forward his eyes on her
"I see you're a fan of my little program, hmm?"
Sawyer nodded, feeling a flutter in her stomach. "Yes I've heard of you. And your radio show is quite popular."
Alastor raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. "Oh, so you've heard of me, but have ever listened to the show"
