Sugar Trail

The Little Girl went out to follow the sugar trail one day and never came back.

The sugar trail promised that she would be happy if she just followed it all the way.

The Little Girl didn’t tell anyone where she was going and snuck out during the day.

The clouds frowned and the sun grimaced at her as she walked along the sugar trail all by herself.

The Little Girl shivered.

The sugar trail led into the forest of buildings and sea of stone.

The ants didn’t follow her anymore.

The Little Girl walked and walked and walked and walked.

Until she noticed the sugar trail wasn’t there anymore.
