The Way I See the World

Take a good look at the world through my eyes

Put on the rose-tinted glasses for a little while

Every single day is full of hellos and goodbyes

Ever wondered how the world looks to a child?

Youth is the prime time to develop a future leader

With vision and innocence paving the way forward

On the edge of the world, I still persevere and teeter

Proving to the masses in no way I would be a coward

Pouring this overflowing love for mankind into a chalice

Trying out exciting things without prejudice and malice

Losing hope and humility is the start of a worrying crisis

Love and kindness shall prevail as the foremost basis

The world around me is not just in black and white

Green is the grass where I sit with my comrade

Blue is the sky when peace soars above like a kite

Orange is the sunset reflected in my eyes when I feel glad

Pacing through the gates with adamant determination

Learning and making friends at school are fruits of freedom

Waving back to the parents full of sheer precision

Jumping at the slightest moment while engaging in wisdom

Home at last greeted by a warm plate on the table

A roof over my head and a cozy bed to sleep

Great education and upbringing make us better people

Sending the best of luck for other children to keep
