Namesakes

Carla
Charlotte and Ryan have named their children after me and Ray. We thought they were never going to have children but they finally had fours babies at once after they went through in vitro. Carla Aubrey, Raymond David, Rose Lynn and Ryan Reynolds jr. were born a month early and very tiny. The luckily only needed a week in the NICU. Anastasia had her twin girls a day later. Amelia Grace and Analisa Dawn Grey.

Ray
The babies keep arriving and the Kavanagh boys now have 7 between them now. Kate and Elliott have three children at this point. Ashley has been trying to get pregnant but can't and she is getting upset. Grace has told her to try adoption and she has listened and she is looking into it.

Christian
I am having trouble with Teddy being jealous of his new baby sisters. So we have included him in the care and feeding of the girls. We also bring them altogether for book reading time. He started realizing we weren't replacing him with the girls we just added more family for him to love and protect.

Anastasia
Teddy was jealous of the girls and threw tantrums until we learned how to use his curiosity and his love and protective nature to make him aware that we just gave him two sisters he could protect and teach them how to do things. We included him in the book reading and let him try to read and make the animal sounds or the car sounds. We included him in everything and made him feel like he was part of caring for his sisters.

Christian
Mom called me about twin boys who needed a good home right away. They are the same age as Teddy and we talk it through with Teddy and he goes with us to meet the boys. Apparently the boys were left at a homeless shelter and ended up at the hospital for malnutrition and dehydration. So no one could find a relative so they were going to be put up for adoption. We drove the minivan and brought car seats for the boys. Brian and William were the names given the three year old boys and we kept those Brian Augustus and William Carrick Grey became friends with Teddy. They were frightened at first but soon realized they were safe warm well fed and they started talking and watching Teddy do things and they learned quickly with his help. We had hired two more staff to help us out with four children under 4 years of age. Of course we had family members who came over with their children.

Anastasia
I was worried at first regarding the trauma the boys had went through but Grace said that no one had hurt them physically but they also didn't care for their basic needs either. So we had to make sure they didn't hurt themselves by eating more than their stomachs could handle. Three weeks after they arrived they started talking and seemed to mimic Teddy and he soon started teaching them things he knew how to do. It was cute and I got videos and photos of it all. At the family bbq there were children everywhere and they were playing. Elliott and Christian made sure that all the children from all families attended. It was a wild day. They had nightmares for the first two months. Teddy wasn't jealous of them and he was their big brother as far as he was concerned. We had their birth certificates show them born an hour and hour and half after Teddy. No one reported them missing and no one else wanted them. I guess the homeless shelters have guidelines when it comes to abandoned children, they can't take them home or adopt them. I guess they had too many issues result from the workers get caught up in things that because they took abandoned children home they got accused of kidnapping them. This way they just advise professionals who are paid to handle abandoned children and that includes hospital workers. Grace was given the green light to call us to get the boys adopted right away. We didn't ask why because they just needed help.

Mia
Emily has been growing too fast and I am getting so sleepy and this time I see the OB/GYN and I am five months pregnant. Dr Greene tells me that I am just one of those women that birth control doesn't work on. Well not the kind I am being prescribed. She is surprised that I didn't get pregnant earlier than this, but she thinks maybe I have a hostile uterus that suddenly wasn't hostile. She tells me that everyone is unique and that sometimes people don't know they are pregnant until they have the baby just like Emily. This time I came in and she can see that I am well cared for and so are my babies. Twin boys run in Thomas's family. Thomas jr. and Christian Elliott Sawyer will arrive in three months.

Thomas
This time Mia is prepared and we have everything ready for little Thomas and little Christian Elliott. I am sitting waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Someone hit the car Mia was riding in and she is on her way to the hospital. Grace was on duty when the call came in. She's standing waiting for them to bring Mia in. She's stronger than I am right now. Suddenly the place is filled with EMTs and I see Mia white as a ghost and Grace is being pulled away from her and I watch as they run with her down to the closest operating room. I am asked to come to the desk to sign consent to operate on my wife. I tell them she is 8 months pregnant and dr Greene is her OB/ GYN.

Debbie
It has been 4 hours and there has been very little news regarding Mia or the babies. Grace has been sedated after they told her that Mia is just hanging on. The boys are n the NICU and they had to do a c section to get them out. All the family has arrived and we are waiting. A drunk woman was brought in saying she hoped she had killed Mia. The cops had her treated and tested for drug and alcohol levels. Scott Barnes the driver was killed in the crash, he put the car in a position where he could prevent the other car from getting his charge. I guess the cops saw the footage and the woman was aiming for the back seat where Mia was seated. Scott tried his best to prevent Mia getting hurt. Sadly the woman was driving a hummer and backed up and slammed into her target three times. Catherine Smith lost her position because she tried to steal Mia's designs and she was caught trying to sell them as her own. She was the driver who went after Mia. She barely has bruises on her and they had her in handcuffs. Scott's wife is here and she's not been told anything yet.
