Arushi gave a small, grateful smile and took her seat. The family began to serve the food, keeping the conversation light and pleasant, hoping to lift Arushi's mood.

But Arushi's eyes were looking for someone...........

Everyone had their dinner and was about to leave to their rooms but stopped when they heard, "You, what are you still doing in this house?" Saurabh shouted, glaring at Malini. He walked towards her at a fast pace and was about to touch her when Neena came and stood protectively in front of Malini.

"Move" Saurabh said looking straight towards neena , she remained silent and refused to respond to him. Saurabh's patience wore thin, his face twisting with frustration. "I said move," as he said and grabbed Neena's arm and pushed her aside. He then lunged at Malini, gripping her neck aggressively.

Meanwhile, Arushi and Kunwar rushed to free Malini from Saurabh's grip. His hold on Malini's neck was so tight that she struggled to breathe. As Arushi tried to save Malini, Shaurabh used his other hand and pushed her to the ground. Arushi landed hard, hurting her back, and let out a small scream of pain. Shardul quickly ran to her side and helped her to sit on the couch.

With a lot of force, Kunwar and Neena managed to push Saurabh away, releasing his grip on Malini's neck. Malini gasped for breath, her eyes wide with fear and pain. "Are you out of your mind?" Kunwar shouted, his voice filled with anger.

"What are you doing? Are you trying to kill her? I don't know if this poor woman has ever been truly happy since you came back, but I do know one thing-at least she had some peace before you returned." His voice cracked with emotion, reflecting the deep pain and frustration everyone in the room felt. Neena stood beside him, her face lined with worry and sorrow, while Malini continued to struggle for air, tears streaming down her face.

Saurabh ignored Kunwar's words and said, "I don't care what you say. You got married to your love and you are leading a happy life with your wife and kids," he said, pointing angrily at Kunwar. Then he turned back to Malini, his eyes filled with bitterness. "What wrong have I done? You people made my life hell by keeping me away from my love, and you made it even worse by marrying me off to this slut..."

Before he could finish his sentence, there was a loud, sharp sound. Saurabh's head snapped to the side as a handprint quickly formed on his cheek. The room was silent, the air thick with shock and tension. Kunwar's hand was still raised, trembling with anger. His face was filled of pain and fury, his eyes blazing as he stared at Saurabh.

"You don't get to talk about her like that," Kunwar said, his voice shaking with emotion. "You don't get to blame everyone else for your mistakes. Malini deserves respect, not your cruelty. You've already caused enough pain. You don't get to add to it by demeaning her."

Neena stood beside Kunwar, tears in her eyes as she watched the scene unfold. Malini was still gasping for breath, her face a picture of hurt and despair. Shardul held Arushi protectively, his own face etched with worry and anger. The weight of Saurabh's actions hung heavily in the air, a stark reminder of the emotional wounds he had inflicted on the family.

Still, Saurabh didn't regret his actions or behavior towards Malini. He glared straight into her eyes, filled with hate, and said, "Don't you ever dare to hurt my love. If you do, the consequences will be severe for you and your kids."

His words hung in the air, dripping with venom. Malini's heart pounded with a mix of fear and anger. The room seemed to close in around her, the weight of Saurabh's threats pressing down on everyone present.
Suddenly, without a moment's hesitation, Malini's hand shot out. The sound of the slap echoed through the room, louder and more shocking than before. Saurabh's head jerked to the side, his cheek stinging with the force of the blow.
