Kaira stepped onto the bustling campus of IIT Bombay, her hazel eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings with a mix of excitement and determination. As a top student in first-year mechanical engineering, she was prepared for the academic challenges ahead, yet the social dynamics of college life still felt like uncharted territory.

On her way to Hostel 10, where she would begin her college journey,Kiara encountered Raggi, a charismatic senior from the mechanical engineering department. Raggi's easy charm and friendly demeanor immediately put Kiara at ease, offering insights into life at IIT and a warm welcome to the community.

Kiara:Hi Raggi I am Kiara 1st year Mechanical engineering too
Raggie:Ohh nice i am glad that there is beautiful girl like you in our college
Kiara(in awkward):umm ok bye I need to go now I am gonna unpack these luggage.

Meanwhile, in the canteen, Anni and Sexa engaged in their usual banter, discussing the ideal qualities of a "model material" girl. Sexa, with his usual wit, jokingly referred to finding someone like "Hailey's Comet"—rare and mesmerizing. Anni, caught up in the conversation, found himself increasingly drawn to Maya's infectious laughter and genuine warmth.

Later that night, in Hostel 4, Acid—a senior and friend to Anni—tasked him and Mummy with retrieving clothes from girls in Hostel 10 for a prank. Reluctantly, Anni and Mummy set out, and Maya, ever helpful, readily provided the clothes without suspicion.

The next morning, Kiara discovered her missing clothes and learned from Maya about their unintended transfer to Hostel 4.

Anni and Mummy standing in the corner listening to her talks were scared of what would happen if she caught both of them

Kiara:Kiara
Derek:oohh new girl
Their eyes met in a moment of mutual curiosity and intrigue
Derek:mummy give back her clothes
Kiara looked at mummy and said "never do that again" and she made eye contact with Derek and went away
The boys present at the corridor were looking at Kaira and were whispering how beautiful she is.
leaving an impression that lingered in their thoughts long after their brief encounter. As Kiara returned to her hostel, thoughts of Derek danced in her mind, while Derek found himself intrigued by the mysterious beauty he had just met.
