Chapter 32 - Weapon

Charusheela nodded at him in affirmation and told, "I remember it, My lord.  I will search it quickly".  The eyes disappeared from her sight while it murmured in frustration, "Anyways you cannot kill him by such childish attempts".  Charu didn't hear his murmurs and was excited to execute her plan.  Just then her maid Damini entered after getting permission and informed that Yuvraj and Yuvrani are going to the Academy.

In the Academy, Agni and Rashmi were in different classes as he chose to attend Earth Power class.  The fellow students kept glancing towards Rashmi and had a fear that she will retaliate to them for the way they had treated her before.  Rashmi didn't give any attention towards their behaviour and acted the way she had been till now.   Once the classes got over, she came out to get her lunch and saw Agneya outside her class, waiting for her.

Rashmi controlled her blush as she felt surreal when he looked at her.  Although she didn't show any emotions while Dakshesh used to wait for charu, somewhere in her heart, she wished for her husband to do all these little things for her.  He didn't do anything out of the box but the simple gesture of waiting for her and accompanying her for lunch, made her heart beat faster.  Both of them greeted and then went for lunch.

While eating the lunch, Agneya asked, "So how does it feel to show your mark publicly for the first time?".  She smiled widely and replied, "I feel great.  Feels like I have attained freedom although no one restricted me from showing it before".  He chuckled at her and said, "You know, more than the mark, the way it protects you from unknown enemies, make me more happy and relieved".   They finished their lunch and went off to their own classes and then went back to the palace using the portal.

It was late night and everyone went to sleep after their dinner.  Dakshesh too slept beside Charusheela, soon after the dinner.  Charu looked at his sleeping figure and slowly moved out of the bed.  She stepped out of the room and immediately moved back inside, seeing the guards who were roaming in the corridor.  Then she quickly thought of a solution and created her shadow figure to roam around the palace, blending into the darkness.

As the shadow passed through the walls of the palace, Charu could see the places it moves over.  The shadow moved over the chambers of Samrat, which Charu suspected to be the place where the secret weapon was hidden.  The weapon that could destroy the Asuras forever.  But she frowned seeing no such thing in Samrat's chamber and swiftly the shadow moved onto Meghnath's chamber but no success.

Being frustrated, Charu herself moved out of her chamber, sneaking away from the guards.  She kept looking back while moving inside a chamber where the doors were open and gasped on seeing the dark red eyes infront of her again.  She whisper yelled, "Why did you scare me like that?  Ain't I doing what you have asked me?".

That dark voice yelled at her equally frustrated, "You fool!  If I'm able to come inside the palace to meet you, wouldn't I roam around the entire palace and searched for that weapon already?  It is not visible like any other things.  They would have obviously hidden it somewhere secretive.  So don't just look around like a commoner seeing the palace for the first time.  Look for hidden rooms or keys".  Saying so the eyes disappeared from her sight and she tried to search for some clues.

On the other hand,  Agneya was taking a bath in the pool present in his bathing chamber.  He rested his arms over the wall of the pool and slanted his head backwards with closed eyes to rest for sometime.  But his peace was short-lived as he felt a hand touching his arms.  He was angered thinking that the maids have come again to help his bath, although he had denied them already.  When he turned around to reprimand them, not wanting to hurt the powerless people like the last time, he was surprised to see Rashmi kneeling down on the floor.

The pool was at ground level so Rashmi was seated right behind Agni's head.  Agni frowned at her as she started to smear the sandalwood paste on his arms.  He asked while turning towards her, "What are you doing Rashmi?".  She continued her work and said, "As your wife, I should do all your works".  He replied in an instant, "Not required.  I'm capable of doing my own work".

Rashmi sighed and turned him again, facing his back towards her and said, "I know you can.  But I want to do these small things which I have always dreamt of doing for my future husband".  She continued her work and asked him to sit up on the pool wall so that she could apply the paste over his back. 

Agneya too sat up on the floor with only his legs dipped into the water and Rashmi applied the paste on his back, while he was thinking something deeply.  Suddenly he pulled her from the back which made her lie down on the floor with her head on his lap.  She gasped in surprise and saw his face leaning towards her.  She slowly closed her eyes anticipating a kiss but instead heard his whisper, "So you dreamt of doing these kind of things to HIM?".
