He sighed as he heard the shouting voices of his parents. when will they stop? He thought to him self. He thought that everyday, so much he had almost grown used to the shouting voices and he knew that no kid should be used to that.

He needed an escape. He knew exactly where. He stood up from his laying position on his bed and grabbed a coat. he couldn't escape from the front door or else his parents would question him, and he didn't want to have to go through that. He had grabbed a camera with him before quietly opening up his bedroom window and jumping out.

The drop wasn't high. his house was only two stories he would only have to jump a couple feet down. He had done this many times during these situations.

He landed with an "umph". He then went over to his drive way and pulled back his bike away from his house. you could still here his parent shouts from outside. He had felt sorry for his neighbors who had to hear them all night and day.

He rolled his eyes as he heard his moms voice say "I wish I didn't marry you!" Before the fighting began (which seemed like months ago) his parents were happy. They loved each other, but that all changed when his dad lost his job. He had many sleepless nights hearing the screaming voices. He only wished for it to stop, but it never did and he didn't think it would end soon.

He jumped on his bike and rode off, not caring if his parents heard him leaving.

He took of his coat as he entered the café. He walked in and saw a girl. He had seen her in here a few times. It seemed she came here often. She looked focused on her phone that was laying in her hands. she tied her long blonde in to a bun. She then begun furiously typing on her phone. He took his gaze off of her and looked around the café. The seats were full. The café was extra busy today.

He sighed as he built up the courage to walk up to the girl. He didn't bother asking if the seat was takin. He set down his coat on the back of the chair and say Down. He saw the girl look up at him, a faint blush coming across her cheeks.

"I'm sorry, was this seat taken?" He had asked. The girl simply shook her head looking down at her lap. He smirked. "The names Conner. What's yours?" He asked leaning in curiously.

"E-Emily" the girl stuttered. "This girl is to cute" Conner thought to himself.

"Don't act all shy pumpkin. I don't bite" he said looking down at her white shirt with a pumpkin on it. As if possible her face a become even more full of heat.

"I-I better go" she said packing up her belongings. She started to walk away, but Conner held out his hand and grabbed ahold of her wrist making her turn around.

"Before you go can I get a picture if you?"
