Her (A Sonic X fic)

Chapter 15: ((The Adventures of Knuckles and Hawk))

Aylin puts on her shoes and wears her jacket then quietly heads down avoiding any noise that will probably wake the others. Making a slight sound and she panics but calms down once outside she walks forward and once at the end of the street summons her rocket boots and flew, it was night but Aylin didn't care she was going somewhere.

Aylin: where are you....

The others did not know she was gone or where she went. It turns out that she was contacted by Knuckles somehow. She then spots knuckles. She flies down to him.

A low-flying jet plane flies over the city. Knuckles stands at the bow of a small freight boat with his arms folded. Aylin looks on with a hint of tiredness as she stands near him.

Knuckles: I can't believe that you decided to come when you accepted my offer do the others know about this

Aylin: no I didn't tell anyone that I left, I just slept for a bit then got ready, headed out, and flew here.

He was taken aback.

Knuckles: woah but alright just be careful I don't want you hurt

Aylin: I won't I promise

Once landed Knuckles and Aylin are walking through the streets of the Oriental City, ignoring the stares they are receiving. Aylin is hoping it's not like the beach from last time when she and the others were looking for the emerald. They then walk to a man.

Knuckles: Hey, How do I get to Jack's place from here?

Man: Ah, I know you! You're that Sonic guy and you are Aylin, aren't you?

Yikes. He got the second part right but as for the first part not so much, judging by Knuckles face his expression reveals what he feels as he is seething with anger.

Knuckles: You must be crazy! I don't look anything like Sonic! I'm Knuckles!

Man: I didn't mean to offend you, pal. We don't see many hedgehogs around here.

Aylin: Knuckles! I'm sorry about that, also yes I'm Aylin. It's nice to meet you. My friend is looking where the Jack place is at.

The man nods and leads them. Aylin saw the looks the people were giving her and Knuckles, she smiled softly earning the hearts of others. The kids smile and wave at her. They were led to a couple of alleys that were nasty but at least they were led to the right place. Aylin nods. Knuckles and Aylin enters the shop, receiving stares from one and all. Aylin also noticed a short and tall wearing a drench coats and hats, Aylin shoots them a glare which they were taken aback. They both approach a man named Fwan who was behind a counter.

Knuckles: Were looking for a guy by the name of Hawk.

Fwan doesn't move and still stares.

Aylin: what's the matter why are you staring like that

Knuckles: It's not polite to stare, pal.

Fwan: I'm sorry I don't see many folks like you two.

Knuckles: Never mind that. Have you seen Hawk or haven't you?

Fwan: Nope. Name doesn't sound familiar.

Aylin: really

Fwan: Sorry, wish I could help ya.

Knuckles glares at him

Knuckles: You're lying.

Aylin: Knuckles.........

Knuckles and Aylin turn around to see that the men have stood up. Known as the Bruiser Boys. If they threaten her and Knuckles then they will surely get bruises.
