Chapter 33: ((Shadow world))

Aylin awoke her head felt heavy she remembers blacking out, seeing Justine, once nearly awaking the explosion coming inches to her, and then someone with serious and soft eyes took her away. As she blinked several times she noticed her finger and that the ring on her finger was gone, Justine did it. They wouldn't track her but then again where was she now. Standing up she noticed that she wasn't at the mansion or with her friends. Where is Sonic now? Standing up she notice that she was looking at the earth through the window. But wait? That can't be right. She then concluded that she was in a space station.

Aylin: I can't....believe this

She felt a presence behind her, and she turned to face an unlikely familiar face......Shadow. Way to go which lowered her mood slightly.

Aylin: Shadow.......you're the one who took me to this place........I don't understand........why though

Shadow looked at her not responding but looking at her with his usual expression. Looking at his expression felt awkward and Aylin sighed and blinked.

Aylin: shadow......what is this place?

He finally spoke after an awkward silence.

Shadow: We call this place Space Colony ARK.

Aylin reminders something when she first arrived in this world there was a second moon, that one grey moon. Was this the space colony aka the moon she saw. It must be it.

Aylin: Never heard of it?

Shadow: It was built fifty years ago by Professor Gerald Robotnik. It's been kept... secret.

That "secret" part felt something off

Aylin looks out the window.

Aylin: I can't believe this everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it

She turns back to Shadow

Aylin: I wish my friends were here to watch this view. I wonder if.....I'm the only girl who's gone to space.

Shadow: You're not.

Aylin: I'm not...then who is it then...

He looked away from her, his face showed a conflicted expression, and does not answer, Aylin looked away looking embarrassed after saying that.

Aylin: I'm sorry....... I shouldn't have said that

Shadow: ...Maria......

What she didn't know was Shadow looking at her with his eyes wide he wasn't angry or annoyed with her unlike the time he was chasing her. Aylin was looking at the window hoping Shadow wasn't angry with her. In Shadows eyes he sees a reflection of Maria. Aylin suddenly received a vision as her mind went blank. It showed Shadow, a girl who is Maria, and Gerald Robotnik running from G.U.N soldiers.

Soldier: Stop them! We can't let them get away!

The scene changes show Shadow in an escape pod. Maria runs up to a control panel

Maria: Listen, Shadow. I want you to promise me... please.

Shadow: Maria!

Soldiers begin banging on the door

Maria: Whatever happens, remember I'll always be your friend, Shadow. We always talked about going to visit the planet one day. But it looks like you'll have to go there without me. Adios, Shadow the Hedgehog.

She pulls a switch and immediately collapses. The escape pod is jettisoned into space. Aylin blinked to find herself on the floor again she must have blacked out again she turned to her left and saw Shadow looking down at her, Aylin could have sworn he had a worried look. She quickly stood up.

Aylin: shadow.......its going to be alright....
