After minutes of following detours and shortcuts on Natasha's fast motorcycle, she enters at high speed and climbs the curves of the parking lot until she arrives in front of a vehicle parked in the shadows, identifying it as the Beetle belonging to the person she came to meet. Stopping her motorcycle, the redhead gets off and walks calmly towards the unknown person.

- Natasha...

- Captain... - Nat says, walking up to Steve Rogers and greeting him with a hug after he removes the hood covering his face and hiding his identity from the outside world. - How are you?

- You know how I am. - He replies in a tone that is not very encouraging, after leaving the redhead's embrace.

- Look, for someone who left a beautiful complex of people with superpowers for a motel and put himself at the top of the most wanted list of... basically the whole world, you look very well to me. - She says, trying to form at least a small smile on her old friend's face.

- Maybe... but what about you, Nat? I heard you made Tony and Ross pretty angry.

- I just followed your example. - She jokes, then turns serious again. - Look... I've been on alert to government networks. They haven't put me on red alert yet. It's only a matter of time, but if you need me to do something...

- Nat... no. Seriously. You risked too much just by being here. - He rejects, although this was not his intention with the meeting with Nat.

- So... if you're not going to ask me for a favor or something like that, why...?

- ...are we here? - He completes her sentence, receiving confirmation that he is right with a nod from the redhead. - I... just came to see how you were.

- You are a terrible liar... you know that, right? - She asks, jokingly, but her face gradually changes until it becomes serious. - Okay... right. Where is he?

- Who?

- You know who I'm talking about.

- Hm... - Steve stops for a few moments, putting his hands on his waist while looking around to make sure they are completely alone there. - He's receiving treatment in Wakanda, T'Challa offered to take care of him.

- I thought he was trying to kill him. When did they become best friends?

- Tony didn't tell the team? - Steve refocuses his attention on Nat.

- What team?

- Oh... I understand. - Sighing, he directs himself to his car, the traditional blue Beetle, and leans on the hood. - After we managed to escape the airport in Germany, we went to the facility in Siberia. When we got there, after some time searching the place, Tony found us... but he wasn't there to fight, at least, that was what he had in mind when he went there. So, Zemo was there and revealed the whole game he played with us, but managed to escape when... when... - Sighing, he places one of his palms on his face, rubbing his forehead.

- When what?

- When a recording... of Bucky... killing Tony's parents was exposed. - Nat's immediate reaction was to widen her eyes, not expecting this. She had known Tony for years and was aware of his feelings about his parents' death, it was complicated. Learning, in that way and under those circumstances, how it happened... it is understandable that he reacted badly to the news. - We fought. We barely got out alive... but he took my shield. I couldn't...

- I know... I know. - Natasha responds, sympathetically, raising her palms to the soldier and hugging him as a way to comfort him. Leaving him after a few seconds, she looks at him again. - And... what about T'Challa?

- He showed up there... stopped Zemo from escaping and helped us get out. After that, I returned to the continent, left something for Tony, and came to you when I found out you had left the Complex.

- I... really appreciate your concern, Steve, but... don't you think you're exposing yourself too much by coming back here?

- Well... I may not be a spy expert like you, Nat, but I know how to hide. I've been avoiding public places... the basics. It seems to have been enough.

- Right... - She agrees, sighing, then crossing her arms and refocusing on Rogers. - Now... why did you really come here?

- What do you mean?

- Oh, come on, Steve. We both know you didn't come here just to see how I was. I can take care of myself very well and I think you've seen that very well over the years since New York.

- Wow... very subtle.

- Thank you.

- Okay... I came here because I need your help.

- I knew it...

- The rest of the team was captured by Ross and taken to a prison in the middle of the ocean... I owe it to them to help them get out of there, to have the same freedom and opportunity I had to leave Germany.

- Damn... - Nat says, in a tone of indignation and aversion to Steve's words, sometimes she couldn't understand her companion's altruism complex. She always thought about the possibility of it coming as part of the super-soldier serum cocktail he took during the War. Maybe... or maybe not. At least, it wouldn't match the phrase "Not a perfect soldier, but a good man" that was said by Dr. Abraham Erskine. She knew this because she had done her homework... or, in other words, had visited the Captain America museum once. - Alright... how do you suggest we break into a maximum-security U.S. government prison?

- I don't know... not yet, at least. - He replies, thoughtfully. - You're the spy... what do you suggest?

- Hmm...
