For years after Queen Rhaenyra's ascension peace and prosperity swept across the realm. Her siblings and children began to make their mark as they grew families of their own.

Prince Aemond Targaryen and Princess Viserra Velaryon were the first of the Targaryen and Velaron children to wed after Her Grace ascended. According to anyone who had ever met them, they were said to have been beguiled by each other. The couple spent their days utterly in love. Their union brought forth four gorgeous babes, each violet-eyed and silver-haired. Prince Baelon and Princess Rhaenora were born just ten moons after the couple were wed, their birth was beaten by four moons by the Queen's final child, Princess Visenya, a girl who embodied her namesake just as her sister. Princess Viserra did. The twins were followed a year and a half later by Prince Viserion and the couple's line was tied up two years later with Princess Rhaella.

Just as Prince Aemond and Princess Viserra were said to be utterly in love, The Prince of Dragonstone, Jacaerys, and the Lady Baela Targaryen were consumed by their enchantment of each other. They married just a month after Their uncle and sister, after much relentless persuasion towards The Queen. Their marriage set the realm's future up, with five violet-eyed and silver-haired babes also being brought forth. Their first, Prince Rhaenar, the future heir to the kingdom was born one moon premature, only eight moons after the couple wed. Princess Aemma was born a year after her brother. She was followed ten moons later by Prince Jaeryn and Princess Laena. They finished their family with Princess Rhaenys two years after the twins.

Though said to have deep infatuation with each other, Prince Lucerys Velaryon, Heir to Driftmark, and Lady Rhaena Targaryen tended to express their love more quietly, nevertheless caring extensively for each other.  They married eight moons after Prince Jacaerys and Lady Baela. They had only two children, both born strong of salt and sea, their legitimacy unquestionable. Their first child and heir was born one year after their wedding, Princess Jacaela was named for the future rulers of the kingdom, and would become the first Lady of the Tides. She was followed a year later by Prince Vaenor.

Prince Aegon and Princess Helaena were wed against their will when they were five and ten and three and ten. Their marriage began very strained and rocky, but after Queen Rhaenyra ascended the throne they had a weight lifted from their back. They no longer needed to pretend to be perfect. The Queen offered her siblings an annulment but they refused. Through their recovery from their trauma, they found solace in each other, which eventually grew into love. The couple had no need for heirs but wished deeply for a child, so they had one babe. Prince Aurion was born two years after Rhaenyra I took the throne.

Through the family being so tight knit, the young Princesses and Princelings began to pair off. The first marriage was between Prince Rhaenar, second in line to the throne and Princess Visenya, the final child of Queen Rhaenyra. They began a gentle romance as children that grew as they did, to a spark of fire and blood. 

At a great tourney in King's Landing to celebrate the wedding of Prince Daeron to Princess Elia Martell of Dorne, Prince Viserys II, fifth child of Queen Rhaenyra, wed Princess Rhaenora, second child of Prince Aemond and Princess Viserra, by fire and blood after growing infatuated with each other during the two-week event. They were joined as Prince Baelon, first child of Princess Viserra wed Princess Jacaela, Future Lady of the Tides.

The final two children of Prince Aemond and Princess Viserra, Prince Viserion and Princess Rhaella were said to have despised each other in their teenage years, never missing a moment to insult one another. Until one day, much like their parents, they found themselves confessing their love while overlooking a sunset. They married two days later by ways of fire and blood, officiated by their mother, Princess Viserra.

During a prolonged trip to Driftmark, Princess Laena, the third in line to the throne, grew madly in love with her cousin, Prince Vaenor, third in line to be Lord of the Tides. They married in the sept, sharing the gentle nature of her great, great-grandmother, Princess Laena did not share the brazen of her namesake.

Prince Jaryn, Prince Aurion, Princess Aemma and Princess Rhaenys were the last of their generation of Targaryens to be unmarried. They went for a year long tour throughout the kingdoms, forming unexpected bonds along the way. When the four returned to King's Landing, they were all wed. Prince Jaryn, fourth in line to the throne, was wed to his sister, Princess Aemma, fifth in line to the throne. Prince Aurion, only child of Prince Aegon II and Princess Helaena, married Princess Rhaenys, the final child of Prince Jacaerys, heir to the throne, and Lady Baela Targaryen, first daughter of Prince Daemon.

The House of the Dragon was united, with only Prince Daeron, Prince Joffrey and Prince Aegon III slipping through the cracks and marrying outside of the family.

House Targaryen stood stronger than ever, its members joined closely. The realm was assured for generations to come, Gods be good."
