Side note: ok before I start this chapter I just want to give a shoutout to my brother and glorified editor darkwolf9375. He has been a big help with me making this story and helping me iron out some mistakes and discontinuity within my story as well as some realism aspects of it. If you see him comment randomly with no context just know he's giving me a heads up lol. Now I don't do everything he says but he is a big help so I just wanted to thank him for it here.

3 hours later:

(???) POV:

(???) "Mr Vice president I urge you not to go through with this! We have information that it was a setup. This is what they wanted. We don't need to start a war we need to find the people who planned this!" The feminine voice said over the phone.

(Vice president) "I'm sorry if I don't trust the words of a psychopathic terrorist! This was a deliberate assassination on our president by the governments of humanity. We have positively identified all of the bodies found on site to be special operators from Russia, China, and even the United States! All but a handful of them were still active in the military according to our current investigation. Now you mean to tell me that a bunch of terrorists somehow paid off dozens of special forces operators and somehow managed to get them behind the scenes of that venue with authentic credentials? Now I can believe that he had knowledge of the attack, I can believe that he even assisted in the operation. However I cannot believe he planned it all out by himself and executed it without the help of government agencies that have the power to do things such as this!" I spoke into the phone my agitation and anger hitting its peak. "Now if you'll excuse me I have a press conference." I said and then hanged up the phone. I then dialed a different number. I waited for the person on the other end to pick up and by the third ring I heard a voice.

(Hera) "Vice president?" The sound of the wolf came over the phone.

(Vice president) "Ah Miss Sovern. I have one last favor to ask of you."

(Hera) "and what might that be?"

(Vice president) "I am currently working up a deal with the United States in order to have Arisen put into our custody."

(Hera) "And?"

(Vice president) "I want you to make sure that he never arrives. I don't care if he lives or dies I just want it to seem like the U.S. sabotaged themselves so as to not give up their own terrorist."

(Hera) "That won't be a problem."

(Vice president) "Good very good. Keep me updated on your progress. Oh and tell the doctor I said hello." I said before hanging up the phone.

Side note: A little bit of heads up. This part of the chapter is has some references to a Call Of Duty
Ghosts missions so if it looks familiar or seems unrealistic then just know I based some of these next scenes off of that mission.

An hour later

(Scott) POV:

I sat quietly on the plane. We were on a C17 on our way back to the United States. Reason being is that we were expecting a war at point now and the only way we were going to be able to continue our operations is in the United States. The whole team was on the aircraft and Arisen was as well. In fact Arisen was right smack dab in the middle of the plain secured to a reinforced chair.

"I have one question." I said looking over at Baker, who was standing next to a few tied down crates. "Why the hell is he even here?" I asked pointing at Arisen.
