Alyana Burns had disappeared without a trace, leaving those who loved her grappling with a mixture of worry and determination.
Back at Stone Hedge, Aeron Bracken stood in the courtyard, his thoughts dark and troubled. The wedding to Emilia Tully had taken place, but the joy and celebration were hollow. Alyana's sudden departure haunted him, but he couldn't do much. His obligations to his uncle and his new wife left him powerless over this situation. He had no choice but to pray for Alyana's safe and quick arrival.
Davos Blackwood, equally tormented, swore silently that he would find her, and nothing was going to stop him.
Hours turned into days as the search for Alyana intensified. Lord Burns, Benedict, Edward, Davos and many others scoured every village, and every tavern, leaving no stone unturned. But Alyana was nowhere to be found.

In the small village where she had found refuge, Alyana was discovering a peace she hadn't known in years. The innkeeper, Greta, had taken her in without question, and the villagers had welcomed her with open arms.
One morning, as she sat by the window, watching the sunrise, Greta knocked softly and entered.
"How are you feeling today, Alyana?" she asked kindly.
"Better, Greta. Much better," Alyana replied, a genuine smile spreading across her face. "Thank you for everything. You have been too kind to me."
Greta nodded, sitting down across from her. "You know, dear, you're welcome to stay as long as you need. But something tells me you're ready to move on."
Alyana sighed, looking out at the peaceful village. "I am. I've been thinking about traveling, seeing more of Westeros. There's so much out there I've never experienced."
Greta smiled warmly. "It sounds like a wonderful idea. But first, perhaps you should let your family know you're safe."
Alyana nodded. "You're right." She pulled out a piece of parchment and began to write.
My dear family,
I want you to know that I am safe and well. I needed time to myself, to think and breathe away from everything. Please don't worry about me. I need to discover who I am and what I want from life.
I'm going to travel and see more of Westeros. I'll write when I can. Please understand this is something I must do alone.
With all my love, Alyana
After sealing the letter, Alyana handed it to Greta. "Can you make sure this gets to my family?"
"Of course, dear," Greta said, giving her a reassuring pat on the hand. "Now, where will you go first?"
"I'm not sure," Alyana admitted. "But I feel like the world is full of possibilities."
The next day, Alyana packed her belongings and set off, her heart light and her spirit eager for adventure. She traveled from village to village, meeting new people and experiencing the diverse cultures of Westeros.
One evening, she found herself in a bustling market town. The air was filled with the scents of exotic spices and the sounds of merchants calling out their wares. As she wandered through the market, she overheard a group of travelers talking about a festival in Tumbleton.
"Tumbleton, you say?" Alyana asked, approaching the group.
A young woman with a friendly smile turned to her. "Aye, the Tumbleton Festival. It's quite the spectacle. Music, dancing, good wine – you should come with us."
