Nicki's POV//
Na handed me the light pink box and waited in anticipation. I took my time untying the hot pink bow knowing it would annoy Na and rika.
"Open the gahdamn box" sherika yelled annoyed causing me to laugh. On the top was a black fitted dress (in mm)
And some flats. Aw hell nah I hope he knows I'm not finna wear those.
"Damn nic that dress is bad"nah said in awe while sherika nodded her head in agreement.
I took the flats out and threw them to the other side of the living room. There's no way in hell I'm wearing those.
"Damn nic you don't want em I'll take em"sherika laughed jokingly. Sherika loved flats and rarely ever wore heels. I'm the exact opposite.
"Go ahead" I said dead seriously retrieving the shoes and handing them too her.
"Awe thanks babe" she said giving me multiple kisses on my cheek.
"Ok that's enough " I said as we all shared a laugh.
"Wait nic there's more" Na informed me.
Inside the box were three smaller boxes. One contained a gold chain which I had to admit I was in love with and in the other two were two gold watches I'm guessing to choose between and some gold hoops.
"Damnnnnnnnnn" sherika and nah said at the same time causing me to laugh.
Na snatched the box from me and read the card out loud.
"Tonight is your night baby its all about you. Yo fine ass better be ready by 9:30

Nah read chuckling at the last part.
"He always gotta ruin the moment." I laughed with them.
"Uh nic its 8:45" sherika informed me.
"What!!" I exclaimed "my hair, straight or curly?" I asked rushing them already at the top of the stairs.
"Straight" they said at the same time
I hopped in the tub and took a quick shower making sure not to get my hair wet.I quickly dried off and motioned up . it was now 8:54
I plugged in three flat iorns and we all got to work on my hair. The time was now 9:18
I quickly slipped on my dress while sherika and Na did my makeup. Once they were finished it was 9:26. I slipped on my black redbottoms and grabbed my black clutch , my phone, and extra money. I made my way down stairs exactly as the doorbell rang. Team work truly does make the dream work.
"Y'all the real mvp's" I laughed as they plopped down on the couch outta breath.
I opened the door to see meek wearing an all black tuxido lookin real cute.
"Babbbyyy" I said in my baby voice
"Hey baby" he kissed me " you ready to go" he asked I nodded my head yeah. I tried to walk as softly as I could . I didn't want my heels to make too much noise because then meek would notice and make me take them off. We got to the car safely and meek didn't notice my heels .
30 minutes later @ lase blige

We pulled up to this nice ass restaurant I didn't even know about. Meek came to my side of the car and helped me out. We were almost to the door when meek stopped dead in his tracks.
"Yo what the fuck nick" he said looking down at my shoes

Meek POV//
I got out the car and helped Nicki out. We started walking to the door and I heard this annoying ass clacking sound. I looked around and I ain't srmee anything. I listened harder and the clacking was real close. I looked down at Nicki's feet and got a little heated.
"Yo what the fuck nic" I asked her a little too loud. She continued to walk towards the door.
"What are you talking bout baby?" She asked playing dumb.
"Don't play dumb onika " I said getting a little louder.
"Baby chill its not that big of a deal they're just shoes" she said trying to calm me down.
"Nah I ask you to do one thing and you stupid ass don't wanna listen" I yelled regretting it as soon as it came out of my mouth .
"Well since I'm so stupid take me home" she said walking away with tears in her eyes that I knew she wasn't gonna let fall. I forgot about pregnant woman and their hormones , but I still shouldnt have said it she was right they were just shoes. I just ruined a night that was supposed to be perfect.
God I'm so stupid.
Nicki's pov//
I can't believe what he just said. The whole ride back he was trying to talk to me and touch me but that just made it worse. We pulled up to our house and he looked at me.
"Nicki just listen to me I just don't want you to be stressed out" he tried
"That's not stressing me out. This is Robert all of this was unnecessary" I said a wayy louder than it was supposed to be but oh well. I slammed the car door and walked straight into the guest room. I heard meek talk to sherika and Na and then a door close. I guess I was so mad I didn't see them. I locked the door and jumped straight in the bed after taking off my heels and dress.
"Goodnight baby" I whispered to my stomach and went straight to sleep.
