Meek's pov//
"Yo you serious?" I said into the phone as i ran my hands over my face.
"Yeah man half a mil for this appearance some girls birthday party and she doin it big, and get this if u stay and party afterwards than its another half mil" chino explained.
I know i promised nic but i gotta get this money. I refuse to have my girl stressin with all this work.
"You in man?" He asked. It was either make money or break my promise with nicki.
"Yeah man" i sighed "imma meet you there" i hung up the phone and went to check on nicki.
"Nicki! I said purposely loud. If i wanted to go tonight she had to wake up.
"Babbyy shush" she whined putting a pillow over her face.
"Come on baby na wants papi tonight i thought we should hang with him" i lied. Na didnt offer to take papi tonight i asked her to. She was more than happy to accept though so it wasnt exactly a lie.
"Why does she want papi tonight" she asked sitting up. She was obviously upset that papi was leaving.
"Uh i dont know something about spending time with him" i answered.
"Oh okay" she said getting up im guessing to get dressed. Im glad she left cause i cant keep lying to her.
We got a long day ahead of us

It was 6:30 and we were just dropping papi of at na's house
"Wait why are we dropping him off so early?" She said looking at a sleeping papi
"This is the time na wanted him chill baby" i chuckled.
She leaned back in the seat and began drifting off to sleep. I grabbed papi out of the back seat and walked him up the cobblestone driveway careful not to slam the door
"Thanks na" i said handing her papi
"You know its nothing i got you.and you know denim will be happy to see him she laughed "Watchu gettin into tonight."she asked
"Uh nothing" i said smiling.
"Yall nasty" she laughed pushing me out the door and slamming it in my face
"Well damn" i mumbled making ny way back to the car. I got in softly closing the door and started the twenty minute journey home occasionally glancing at nicki to make sure shes asleep. I picked her up and made my way in the house. I knew she was in a deep sleep when i layed her in the bed.
'Thank god'
I changed my clothes wrote a note and quickly left the house.

I had just finished my performance earning my money for that section.
"This shit is lit bro" chino yelled
Chino was the wildest out of all if the chasers and im starting to regret doing this with him but its too late now.
" i need a drink" i said making my way to the bar. They brought about six shots to me and i took all of them. I felt like complete shit for breaking my promise to nicki.
"Hi daddy" some girl came and sat in my lap.
"Hell nah get up" i said to her before drinking my next shot.
"Is that how you talk to the birthday girl meek" she said. I got a full glimpse of her face and wasnt surprised. It was this girl i used to mess with. Dont get me wrong she was bad just not as bad as nicki
