MAEVE ROGERS
My dad was holding me close, rubbing my back, until we heard footsteps down the hallway, "go hide there", he pointed to the closet, sitting down on the couch.

I quietly ran towards the closet, slowly closing the door, covering my mouth to contain my sounds, crying quietly to myself.

There was silence for a few seconds until I heard a shot, pressing my hand tighter against my mouth, whimpering, "oh, so here is the perfect little dad", Romeo.

"Nice to meet you, I'm your daughter's future husband, well, one of them", I could practically see him flashing that stupid smiled of his, my dad glaring at him, "you won't ever have my daughter, no matter what you'll do".

"Oh, Maevey, did you hear that!, he thinks he can stop me", fuck, does he know I'm here, "you better come out before I'll do something that will break your heart", he shouted, loading his gun, fuck.

There was a shot, making me freeze, Angelina starting to cry, "that was a warning shot, Maeve, come on, darling, come out".

"Maeve, don't!", my dad shouted, making me whimper, "oh, so she is here, hmm, should I look for you myself?", I heard his footsteps all over the room, walking in circles, "Maevey....".

I backed away silently as I heard him getting closer to the closet, pressing my hand tighter, "is there someone here?", he knocked on the door, he's playing games with me.

"You want to come out by yourself and I won't hurt your beautiful family in the process", I gulped, standing up, "p-promise", he went silent, making me sniffle, "promise what, kitten".

"Promise me, t-that you won't hurt them if I'lI come out by myself", he sighed, "I promise, Maevey, come on", I sniffled again, standing up, slowly walking towards the door.

Standing there for a few moments, biting back my sobs, I really hate myself for doing this, "I have all day, Maevey, I can stand here with a loaded gun, and your family surrounding me the whole day".

I whimpered, slowly opening the door, "oh, hey beautiful", he gave me a sinister grin, making me slap him hard across the face, "I fucking hate you", he clenched his jaw, turning to look at me.

"I give you two minutes with them only because you haven't seen your dad in a long time, and probably won't see him any time soon", I sniffled, running towards my dad.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry", he quickly caught me in his arms, holding me close to him, "shh, baby, I got you, I won't give up until you're with me forever, okay, I promise", he kissed the top of my head, cradling my head.

He slowly pulled away, a sad smile on his face, wiping my tears, "I love you so much", he kissed my forehead, cupping my cheeks, "I love you more".

"Wrap it up, Maeve, come on", I glared at Romeo, moving towards Maya, who had tears in her eyes, "I'm sorry", she whimpered, pulling me towards her, "what, no, don't be, it's not your fault", I hugged her back, Angel still in her arms.

"We'll be a happy family soon, I promise", I smiled softly, kissing her cheek, and Angelina's, "you done here?".

"Fuck you", he rolled his eyes, grabbing my arm, pulling me towards the door, 'I love you', my dad mouthed, making me whimper, Romeo pulling me downstairs, "look what we have here", everyone was there, everyone, the guys, Milo, Mario holding Serafina.

"Milo-!", Romeo pulled me against his chest, covering my mouth, "give me Sera, and we'll lighten her punishment", Milo growled, looking at me, "we already made a deal, you give me Maeve, I give you Serafina, if you take Maeve, Sera is staying here".
