The last few days had been well interesting...

The equipment for Dottores experiments had arrived and he had spent most of his time cooped up in his study.

He only left to sleep. All his meals were brought to the room and he had his own washroom.

I hadn't exactly given him permission to be wandering about my house yet so this worked fine by me.

Overall this was perfect for me because I was able to start my own work and catch up on a few requests.

Well, it may have seemed great that he was working so hard there was one tiny little issue.

He still hadn't given up on trying to kill me.

I sat on my bed taking out the elastic from my hair as I heard the door to the room open.

My guard was up and I waited patiently to see what he would try today.

Dottore had already tried multiple things.

The first of his great ideas was to try and kill me in my sleep using a pair of hair-cutting scissors...

"Goodnight Madam..." His voice was a light whisper.

There was a swish of air and I could hear as the object made its way toward my neck.

I kicked the sheets off covering him and the object in them before pushing the man to the floor.

He fell off my bed with a thud and was entangled in the sheets.

With a grin on his face and scissors in one hand he lay on the floor beneath me.

"Ah... you were supposed to sleep through that."

The night after that he had decided to try a new tactic, strangulation.

I stood in the bathroom with my hair dripping wet from my shower.

With a towel in hand, I put it over my head to try and dry my hair.

There was a small creaking sound which forced me to be on high alert.

My eyebrow twitched and anger began to bubble.

There was a click and I dropped the towel from my head.
