Wanda dropped her arms by her sides as a grin of relief was drawn on her face the moment her eyes met with Steve Rogers', and all her mind was able to think in that moment was how he looked exactly the same as she remembered, even under that beard and serious frown on his face, as it time hadn't passed.

But the sound of a fast run forced Wanda to look away from him just as another masculine figure approached the sorcerers across the street, leaping as he got close to them and taking out the spear from the chest of the impaled one, making this one fall into the ground at the feet of the other two, before he turned and tried to stab the one in the middle who managed to motion his hands on time and conjure an orange round saw that ended up cutting the spear in half.

Bucky Barnes' eyes open widely as he saw the half of his vibranium spear fall at his feet, making his eyes meet with the ones of the sorcerer in front of him, who didn't lose a second to motion his hands again, this time, casting a ball of energy that ended up blasting Bucky away from them.

But just as he did that, a wave of small missiles came at them from the sky, making the sorcerer motion his hands again as he formed an energy shield around them, avoiding every one that Sam Wilson directed at them, giving Steve enough time to sprint across the street and slide, taking down the one holding the shield at the same time as Bucky ran back to them, this time, throwing a punch as he leaped to the one still standing who managed to dodge it by turning, just as he dodge the other one that Steve hurled at him, giving a chance to the other sorcerer to conjure a beaming blade that he didn't hesitate to aim at Steve, who this time ducked to avoid it.

The sorcerer hurled it once more and as he tried it a third time, Sam Wilson's feet ended up pushing him by the chest as he approached him at great speed from the sky, an action that the sorcerer who had kept on fighting Bucky saw, making him without hesitation to lift himself from the ground forming several platforms in the air, that let him approach Sam in the air close enough to threw at him a gleaming ball of fire that he conjured as he went up, which managed to make him spin in the air away from them as it exploded.

Steve's eyes followed the sorcerer coming down from the sky the same way he went up and he quickly looked down again finding the pointy half of the spear laying a couple of feet away from him, making him, without a second thought, dive to roll on the ground and pick it, stabbing the sorcerer on the shoulder the moment he landed on the ground.

The eyes of the other sorcerer opened widely as he saw his partner getting stab, and without losing a second, he lifted his hands in front of him ready to conjure another orange beam at the man who embedded the spear deeper into his partner's shoulder, gazing at his eyes as he did so, nevertheless, when he motioned his fingers, the Sling Ring on them suddenly vanished in a red mist, causing the sorcerer to quickly turn his head finding across the street the redheaded girl, soaking wet and with blood dripping from her face, with her hand in the air and her glowing red eyes staring back at him.

The sorcerer turned back the moment Sam landed behind him and Steve turned to face him, letting go of his partner for the first time, and he swallowed as he stood still with those four pairs of eyes staring back at him from every direction until a sudden glowing portal appeared behind them, making this one run to it without losing a second, following the wounded sorcerer who walked through it, and which closed as soon as this one did so as well, causing the street to turn dark from one second to the other.

Wanda's eyes turned back to the usual green as she turned, helping her brother stand up while the three men walked across the street to approach them, making Wanda realize even his smell was the same the moment Steve stood in front of them.

"Thanks for that."

Bucky blurted trying to catch his breath causing Wanda to simply return him with a grin, while all Steve was able to do was gaze at them, specially the now redheaded woman in front of him, the one he remembered as just a young girl, and he couldn't help but frown the moment he saw a drop of blood run through her face, looking by past her green eyes for the first time realizing the several wounds on both kid's faces that started to drip again due to the water running from their heads.
