Chapter 39: The plan.

Akio's Pov.

As I entered my home, I couldn't help but miss the smell of Aunties cooking. I hope her trip is going well. I'd then go upstairs and would sit down on my chair and start off my usual work. A huge final is coming up and I want to make sure I can finish studying. When I'm confident enough I'll go see Nezuko's tournament. It's important that she has the whole squad there. Ah speaking of which, I should text Meng to see if he is flying back in. He always goes to the kids tournaments.

But as I was waiting for him to pick up. I would scratch the scar from the past that is on my chest as I can still feel a small burning sensation. Flashes of a green eyed Monster looking at me dead in the eye as it stabs me with whatever was in its hands. Yet the pain gave me a sense of...purpose. As if a peice of myself was finally whole. Is it weird enough to say that those events gave me wings.

It felt weird, but it's as if my soul was recharged and my primal instincts were re-awaken. That's why sometimes I scratch this scar because it reminds me of it. But I wonder what it felt like if I remembered "Everything". *FWOOSH*. Suddenly, a pair of shooting stars can be seen in the sky as I looked out my window Amazed. One of them was a violet Purple and the other was a dark amber. I got to take a quick shot of this quickly. I said to myself as I went to go and grab my phone.

*RIIIIIIIINNNG* AAAGHH.

But then suddenly a loud ringing in the ears came out of nowhere as it started to give me a huge headache. I couldn't see the images clear enough, but all I can see was someone holding a green stone with blood.

*THUMP*.

In the heat of the  moment I ended up knocking over some things. Ah shit. I groaned as I leaned down to grab my stuff. That's when I looked under my desk to find a chest with the "original fours initials". Ohh, I remember these. I said to myself as I picked them up. I would then untie the knot and start to skim through the pages. Yeah, these are the journals we made. I said to myself as I looked at each symbol and notes.

I remembered these. Basically before Tanjiro and Nezuko came into our lives, Sis, Meng, and Cho wanted to become Demon Slayers. So we wrote down anything we can on Demons. We wrote down different Wisteria and spider lily recipes, different ruins to temporary withdrawals a Demon. This specific book was Mengs. I never seen his hand writing before, it looks so....sloppy. One of them involving a blade.

"A hell Blade, one of the very few "Artifacts" me and Uncle recovered on our last trip to Britain. Originally we attempted to find a different blade, Not one of my favorites, but either way we tried. This particular blade was a nice souvenir from the Green Hellfire Vessel. I even managed to get one for Auntie, Uncle says it's a gift especially for her."

After reading this I raised a brow in suspicion. Meng doesn't have any family members. I said to myself while trying to find any other mentions of this "Uncle". He mentions him a lot, but before I can go into more detail I got a buzz on my phone. I picked it up and saw Cho's contact. Reluctantly I opened it and put it near my ear.

Cho 💛: Heya Akio-kun, wanna go out?

Akio: Like..on a date?

Cho: NONONONO, NOT LIKE THAT, I MEAN ONE DAY, BUT NO.

Akio: oh...so out where?

Cho: Tanjiro has a date with Kanao. At his place.

Akio:....ill be there in 10.

Cho: Bring one of your Fake I.D's.

I imeidietly hanged up and would run out the door. But suddenly I stopped as I looked back at the notes. I instinctively scratched my chest as I can feel my eye twitching. Nahhh. I said to myself I continued to walk away.
