Prologue

The world is always divided in to two. Light and dark, chaos and peace, good and bad.— You can't be neutral, you always had to pick a side.

Pinanganak ako sa isang pamilya ng mga kriminal. Or rather, a family who held major criminal transactions. We did illegal business, at isa sa mga kinakatakutan ang pamilya ko kasi our family controlled majority of the businesses and illegal transactions happening in the country.

Bata pa lang ako, I was exposed to what the real world was supposed to be like. And so, I became observant. I learned, I trained, and I knew I was made to conquer the way my father did. Following his path, ako yung ine-expect ng lahat na magiging tagapagmana sa kaharian niya.

He taught me all the things I know. Whether it's business strategies, how to shoot a gun, how to kill, you name it.

He also taught me that in this world, the most important thing to remember is to only trust myself because everyone is a possible threat. My father taught me that people were either toys to soon dispose, chess pieces to manipulate, or objects to use at will.

That was also how I succeeded in earning the fear and respect of people in the place I considered my world. I didn't want to use my father's name as an excuse to do what I wanted. That was why I did what I could to make them fear my name.

For as far as I could remember, my life was always like this. It was always consisted of dirty money, cold blood killings, bar parties, and fucking everyone I wanted just because I could.

Maeve Quincy Arceta. The heiress of Arceta Clan. People feared me. And that was my greatest asset.

Ang tanging layunin ko ay ang pag dominate sa systema ng mga transakyon at illegal na mga kagagawan. But I couldn't do that yet kasi may kaagaw pa ako sa posisyon ng kapangyarihan at yon ay ang mga Vergara.

The Vergara Clan has been my family's nemesis.

And I will do everything to destroy them to get the power that I deserve.
