p.s Be warned, the rest of this are just probably just me, make shifting a possibility of one's revival. And I mostly do my research and sum'n like that.
"So....lately...I've been working on some things. It's something between good and bad, well....maybe it's extremely bad but with a good cause. I promise!" Wei Wuxian explained trying to defend himself. Jiang Cheng sneered at him, "You haven't even told us what it is and you're already defending yourself?" Jiang Cheng scoffed with a smirk.
Wei Wuxian rolled his eyes as he settled down. "So....remember when I told Zewu-jun that I'll be taking Chifeng-zun's body right? Remember when I ask of you that, Zewu-jun?" Wei Wuxian asked for confirmation. Lan Xichen nodded while Nie Huaisang, Lan Zhan, and Jiang Cheng just listened in now.
"I went ahead and placed his body at the Burial Mounds. I've been testing my abilities after the whole Guanyin Temple Incident.
I've been writing some manuscripts lately....I remembered Wen Ning while doing so...everyone knows he's a walking corpse....obviously. And so I did some experimenting.
What if I were to....revive a dead person? Like....FULLY revive them?" Wei Wuxian enthusiastically said. Jiang Cheng raised his eye brow, "What are you saying? That doesn't make sen---" He was cut off by Nie Huaisang who immediately fed him a Loquat. "No, no. We're all ears. Go on Wei-xiong..." Wei Wuxian coughed, "As I was saying....and...well...let's just cut off the chase."
"I can bring back Chifeng-zun"
Nie Huaisang looked at him as if he were crazy. "How? What???" He blabbered in disbelief. "How exactly A-Ying? Aren't you making deals with devils now? Or maybe beings that the normal eye can't see? What's the price???" Lan Xichen panicked, Lan Zhan held a hand on his elder brother's shoulder.
Xichen looked at the floor still in disbelief even Nie Huaisang was left speechless now. Xichen then glanced at Wei Wuxian, "Are you sure about this? Can you......really revive him? Not as a walking corpse....but an actually living person?" Xichen asked him, his eyes begging for an answer.
Wei Wuxian smirked as he puts a hand on his waist. "It will be worth a try." Jiang Cheng scoffed and smirked seemingly going to disagree but then, "Hah....seriously. I'm in. How does it go?"
Wei Wuxian stood before Lan Xichen, Nie Huaisang, Jiang Cheng, and Lan Zhan, a glimmer of determination in his eyes. He took a deep breath and began explaining his plan.
"We need to start with restoring Nie Mingjue's body," Wei Wuxian began, pacing slightly. "His head and body need to be perfectly reassembled and preserved. I have some advanced healing techniques and preservation spells that should work. Think of it as stitching him back together, but with a bit of a magical twist."
He glanced at Lan Xichen, who was listening intently. "Once his body is whole, we'll need to use some rare herbal elixirs and medicinal baths. These will help restore and maintain his physical condition. I've already started gathering some of these herbs, and the rest can be prepared once we’re ready."
Wei Wuxian's gaze shifted to Nie Huaisang, who was clutching his fan tightly. "His soul is still in his head, which simplifies things a lot. We don't need to go on a wild goose chase to find it. But, we do need to cleanse and stabilize it."
"How will you cleanse it?" Nie Huaisang asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Wei Wuxian smiled reassuringly. "There are powerful spiritual artifacts and cleansing rituals that can remove any corruption or manipulation from his soul. Once cleansed, I’ll stabilize his soul using talismans and formation arrays. These will help strengthen it before we move on to the next step."
Jiang Cheng, standing with his arms crossed, raised an eyebrow. "And what’s the next step?"
"We need to rebind his soul to his body," Wei Wuxian explained. "This is where it gets tricky. I'll conduct a complex ritual involving chanting, incense, and symbolic gestures to bind his soul back to his body. Think of it as tying a knot between his soul and his physical form."
Lan Zhan’s eyes met Wei Wuxian’s, filled with silent support. "And the reanimation?"
Wei Wuxian nodded. "I’ll channel spiritual energy or life force into his body to reanimate it. I have a few powerful artifacts that can act as conduits for this energy. It’s going to be a delicate process, but I’m confident it can be done."
He turned back to Lan Xichen. "Once he’s revived, protective and stabilizing arrays will be placed around him to ensure his soul remains attached and stable. This isn’t a one-time thing; I’ll need to perform regular spiritual maintenance and healing sessions to keep him healthy and whole."
Wei Wuxian paused, letting the weight of his words settle over them. "It’s going to be challenging, but I believe I can bring Nie Mingjue back. I just need you all to trust me."
Lan Xichen gave a slow, thoughtful nod. "We trust you, A-Ying. Do whatever you need to."
Wei Wuxian looked at them and smiled. "I'll make his work." He then looked at Lan Xichen. "I'll bring your Sworn Brother back......I promise."
"Urgh! That fucking bitch! I just wanna slap him!" Jin Ling came to Yashi with a red face of anger following behind him was Ouyang Zizhen who was pissed as well.
"Why? What happened." Jingyi asked with a raised brow. "Jin Chan... y'know? My old bully? Yeah. Well, he's been talking about shitty things about me again and mentioned that there will be a Discussion Conference happening in our 2nd month. This year the host is...." Jin Ling then looked at Zizhen.
"......Yiling Laozu" Zizhen sighed making Jingyi chuckle in disbelief. "Oh we're done for.... It's nice getting to know you guys as my friends." Jingyi said giving his friends handshakes.
"What is a Discussion Conference?" Jin Geumryeong asked as the Junior Four looked at him. Jin Ling huffed and began to explain.
"It is a gathering of the leaders and representatives from various cultivation sects to discuss important matters affecting the cultivation world. These conferences are crucial for maintaining order, addressing conflicts, and making collective decisions." He explained thoroughly.
"Will we participate as well?" Cheong Myeong asked eyes glistening in mischief. His friends looked at him in concern, they don't want him causing trouble.
Ouyang Zizhen smirked, "Of course....after all, you're bringing your Sect name with you."
