Author's Pov:

It's been two months since that uneventful day in the hallway. Anu had tried to avoid him at any cost, but it seemed like he was everywhere she went. She would see him in the hallways, in the cafeteria, in the ground and what not even in her classes. He's her senior yet that didn't stop him from entering her classes. And every time, he would give her that intense gaze, like he was trying to see right through her.

At first, Anu had tried to ignore him but as days went on, it was getting harder and harder. She started to feel like she was being stalked. She knew it was him, she's not that dumb to not to guess who it could be. She would find roses in her locker, chocolates on her desk and some gifts or notes inside her bag. It was like he was trying to send her a message, but she had no idea what it was.

She knew he wanted to get to know her, he had declared that on that day yet something is stopping her. She didn't like his vibes one bit.

For a record he didn't even try to introduce himself he straight away wanted to know her, like who the hell does that?

Wondering how she got his name, it's not that hard you know with all those whispering and talking as if she can't hear them?

On top of that, every day he would do something new. It was like he was trying to wear her down, to get her to talk to him or get her reaction. And every time, Anu would feel that shiver ran down her spine. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to tell him to stop pestering her yet a part of her was scared of him, but another part was curious.

What did he want from her apart from getting to know her? Will someone do all this just to get to know each other?

Why was he being so persistently annoying?

"Anu" she heard that energetic voice making her smile, turning around and she got the sight of her new friend, who ran to her and hugged her as if she didn't just see her like an hour before.

Despite the weirdness, she had started to settle into her new school. She had made friends with a group of girls and they had taken her under their wing. It was a bit difficult to follow their accent at first, but she was getting there.

One stood out the most to her, was this bubbly, tall, an energetic and outspoken girl with this bright pink hair, Kenzie. They had met on her first day but they could talk, some incident happened that made her run away but alas they met again in her history class and had quickly become friends..

"So, how's my favourite girl doing" Kenzie asked while moving back and throwing her hands around her shoulder as they make their way to cafeteria to meet their friends.

"Nothing much just boring as always and what about you" Anu asked making the girl groaned.

"I got punished and sent out" making Anu to chuckle shaking her head, "Zie, You're always getting into some trouble"
