(A/N: Good goodness this is the short, but it was to get the gist of Cotag for future oneshots.)

Protag had gotten the job he had applied for at Unnamed Company, but ever since his first day in the building, he hasn't been able to get proper sleep. There's a lot of things that still haunt him from his interview. Things he couldn't forget.

Protag walked out the elevator and into his cubicle, stretching his arms to wake himself. Pulling out his office chair, Protag plopped himself in his swivel office chair. He started up his computer and got to work. About a few hours had passed since and Protag's lack of sleep caught onto him. He crossed his arms and looked at the time; 1:05 p.m. He still had a lot of time before his shift was over. Sighing, Protag laid his head on his table, sleep taking over him.

"Looks like someone's slacking off." A voice said, causing Protag to jump from his position. He looked up to find Coworker staring down at him in amusement and a cigar between his lips.

"What's the time, Coworker?" Protag asked, searching for his glasses. He must've put them on the table before dozing off.

"It's currently 1:45. I'm sure the boss wouldn't like to hear that the newbie was slacking off." Coworker said, leaning down and watching Protag shuffle through the items on his desk in search for his glasses. Smirking to himself, Coworker pulled put Protag's glasses from his work suit and placed them back onto Protag's face, making him looking up at Coworker in surprise.

"You took my glasses?" Protag asked, a hint of annoyance present as he looked at Coworker.

Coworker on the other hand, was trying not to smile at the way Protag's eyebrows had been lowered, or how his lips were curled inwards. He simply rested an arm on Protag's head and replied, "I took them a long time ago. I'm surprised you never heard me walk into your cubicle."

"Why would you even do that?" Protag asked with an eyebrow raised in suspicion. If anything, Coworker leaned onto Protag, blowing out a puff of smoke over the shorter male before pulling back and standing straight.

"As a senior, it is my duty to make sure that the newbies are doing well." Coworker said, narcissism clear in his tone as he ruffled Protag's hair. Protag simply rolled his eyes and fixed his hair, wanting to be left alone.

"I wanted to ask you something." Coworker said, catching Protag's attention. Coworker wanted to ask him, a 'newbie', something? Now that's new. Protag turned around in his swivel seat, signaling Coworker to continue. The blonde placed his cigar at the end on the table as he leaned against it.

"Are you free tonight after work?" Coworker asked. He seemed fidgety, almost like this question had some sort of importance to it. Protag thought to himself before he nodded his head for affirmation. Coworker seemed content with the response and walked over to the exit of Protag's cubicle.

"Perfect! I'll see you then, Newbie. Take care!" He bid farewell, walking out of the cubicle. Protag smiled at Coworker's antics to take him out until the he noticed some of his documents on fire from none other than Coworker's cigarette. He cursed at Coworker before attempting to put the fire out.

END.
