Chapter two

Camille woke up with Klaus sleeping peacefully by her side. She has been sharing his bed for the last couple of days, she knows that her relationship with Klaus has just gotten even more complicated. They have both been avoiding to address the elephant in the room. Camille knows that at some point they will have to have the talk but for now she is happy to just be here, she looks at the man sleeping besides her and he looks so peaceful. You wouldn't know that he has been fighting his demons for a thousand years.

She gets up and walks to the bedroom to do her morning rituals, once she is done and decent enough she leaves the bedroom to check on Hope. Hayley brought Hope last night to spend the weekend with her father, she had to return to the Bayou to take care of some pack business.
Hope was awake when Camille walked in her room, she was playing with her favourite toy.

"Morning princess" said Camille while smiling
"Want some breakfast?" asked Camille
She picked up Hope and headed for the kitchen

Klaus woke up and felt the other side of the bed empty. He wondered were Camille might be. Ever since Camille started sharing his bed his nights have been peaceful and he knows that it is because of her.
Klaus found Camille with Hope in the kitchen, Camille was making Hope's favourite breakfast while holding her. He had to admit that that was the prettiest sight he has ever seen, she was a natural and would definitely make a good mother.
"Good morning to my two favourite girls" said Klaus
Klaus walked over to Camille and Hope

Camille blushed while Hope was just too happy to see her dad

"Can I help you with that?" asked Klaus

"Are you sure you know how to make her favourite breakfast?"

"Camille, I am a man of many skills and making Hope her favourite meal is my speciality," said Klaus

Camille just smiled and let him take over

That's when she felt it again. The nagging feeling like she is forgetting something.
The feeling has been nagging her for days. She has checked her to do list just to make sure that she isn't missing something but nothing important needs her attention, so what is it?

She felt Klaus touch her hand to get her attention

"Do you want to feed her?" asked Klaus

"Yes"
"Breakfast is ready princess" said Camille while walking to the dining room

"Will called yesterday. He wants to see me"
"Something about NOLA PD wanting me to work as a consultant on their unsolved cases" said Camille
"Looks like you made an impression. I am not surprised" said Klaus

"But I don't think it's safe for you to leave the compound while Aurora is still at large and the striks are plotting against this family" said Klaus

"Why don't you invite him here?" asked Klaus

"Are you sure? I wouldn't want to bring a stranger in your home" said Camille

"It will be safer for you to meet him here" said Klaus

" I will text him" said Camille

"Hello Nik. Miss me?" said Rebekah with a smile
"Rebekah I am glad you are home safe and sound. Hello Elijah " said Klaus

"Morning Rebekah, Elijah, it's good to have you guys home"
"Cami, Elijah told me what happened. I am glad that you are ok. Aurora is such a bitch" said Rebekah

"Camille, you look so much better. I believe my brother has been taking such good care of you" said Elijah with a smile

"Where is Freya? Is she still sleeping?" asked Elijah
