Chapter 13

*Whitney's POV*

"ROBYN! YOU IDIOT!" Matt squealed.

"Shut up Matt, you sore loser" she replied.

Robyn, Matt, Vikki, and Ian are sitting around a table playing 'trouble', and I'm sitting around watching them. Naturally, Matt is losing so he is getting upset.

"You totally cheated just then!" He wined.

"Matt, just accept that you're losing and put you're piece back to home" Robyn said calmly.

"Fuck this shit" he said throwing his hands up in defeat.

"Matt! I need to win! Come back!" Robyn pleaded.

"Sure" he said slyly

Matt walked back over and sat down. He was smiling an evil smile. When Robyn was about to move her piece, Matt took the game board and flipped it so game pieces went flying everywhere. Two game pieces hit me in the face, but I didn't react. Josh was gone to buy cigarettes and it felt like the longest few minutes of my life.

"Do any of you guys know when Josh will be back?" I asked.

"He just left, do you think you're a little... attached?" Ian said, shuffling a deck of cards.

"No... maybe a little... but these are hurting times for me, so be nice." I said, while Josh walked through the door.

"Josh!" I screamed

When he came back, my whole mood changed. I don't know why I didn't just go to the store with him. Its probably because I feel like I'm up his ass a little too much lately.

"what's going on?" he said

"nothing, I'm just just glad you're back". I said

"I was only gone to the store for two minutes" he said taking off his sweater.

"I know.. I'm just lonely nowadays" I said, feeling like a lost puppy.

"Don't even worry about it." he said, kissing me on the forehead.

He took my hand and led me back into the living room where the rest of the gang was.

"What happened in here?" Josh said as he walked in and saw game pieces on the floor.

Everyone glared in Matt's direction, and he slowly sunk down in his seat.

"Matt lost, and he got mad. Are you new here?" Robyn said.

"I'm going to bitch slap you" Matt threatened Robyn.

"Ha!" Robyn said "I'm always the one who ends up beating you up".

Robyn was a bit younger than me, but we are about the same size. Her hair is shorter and blonder than mine, and she is a bit more masculine.

"Every time we fight, I win... if I don't, I let you win." Matt said.

"Oh please" she said " We have been friends since we were little, and you have not ONCE beat me up." She placed her hands on her hips.

"Oh, you wanna go!?" Matt challenged Robyn

"You better believe it!" Robyn yelled.

Matt walked quickly in Robyn's direction. He went to grab her, but she ducked. Matt backed away for a second.

"See" Robyn said "don't waste your breath"

Matt started doing weird stuff and it caught Robyn off guard for a second, so Matt charged at Robyn and wrapped his arms around her waist. He instantly tossed her over his shoulder.
