Ellie introduced them to the best food spots, where they tried unique dishes like fish tacos and clam chowder.
One afternoon, they decided to try surfing together.
Michael, being the eldest, was determined to master it quickly, while Sam, despite being the youngest, showed a natural talent for balancing on the board.
Ellie, with her experience, gave them tips and cheered them on. "You're doing great, Sam!" Ellie called out as Sam caught a wave.
"Thanks, Ellie! This is awesome!" Sam shouted back, his face beaming with excitement.

EXT. THE BOARDWALK - NIGHT
Michael is purchasing a Black Jacket from the Punk Store on the boardwalk. He likes his reflection.
It's the kind of jacket the Lost Boys would wear. The Camera Travels with him as he gets into his new attitude.
He stops near an Ear Piercing Concession and actually considers it. Ellie walks over holding a bag, "Michael Do not."
Star O.S. "It's a rip-off."
Michael is floored to see Star standing behind him. "Hi..." Michael says
"If you want your ear pierced, I'll do it." Star says
Ellie giggles and nudges Michael to follow her, Ellie and Michael follow her as they move along the busy Boardwalk.
"What's your name?" Michael asks
"Star." Star responds
"Oh. Your folks, too, huh?" Michael asks
"What do you mean?" Star asks
"Ex-hippies. My mom was one. I came this close to being called Moon Child, or Moon Beam or something." Michael says as Ellie pops him in the back of his head, "But Star's great. I like Star."
"Me, too." Star says
"Your fumbling the bag." Ellie says
"Shut up! I'm Michael, That's Ellie." Michael says
Ellie waves, "Michael's great. I like Michael." Star says
Ellie giggles, Michael smiles awkwardly at Star's playfulness. For a moment they walk in silence.
"I guess you two are new around here." Star says
"Sort of. We used to come here summers when I was kid. Now we're here on a permanent basis." Michael explains
"Moved here after my brother...went missing." Ellie says smiling
She seems pleased by that news. Michael gives her a look. He can't believe his good fortune.
"Are you hungry? Wanna get something to eat?" Michael asks
"Okay." Star responds
"W!" Ellie shouts dapping up Michael
EXT. BOARDWALK PARKING AREA - NIGHT
As Michael, Ellie and Star approach Michael's Honda, the Lost Boys arrive on their motorcycles.
