here we go again another day at school, it's only the second day back and i want to leave already

i get up and do what i normally do in the morning and then wait for lily to pick me up, we head to starbucks since i didn't eat or anything this morning and then we go to school

"morning girls" joel said as we went to our lockers "morning joel" lily said "morning" i mumbled as i closed my locker and saw the boys walk in school

"who's got what lessons today?" aria asked "i got music" joel said "science" i said "losers, me and aria have free period" lily said "ugh can't you go to science and pretend to be me?" i asked as they laughed "you loved science" aria said "no she loved the teacher" joel said "no i didn't and i didn't love science" i said "so why don't you wanna go to science?" joel asked "i know why, corbyn besson" lily said

the bell goes off and we all separate but i really don't want to go, i finally get into class and look around for a seat but the only seat free is next to him. next to corbyn.

i sit down next to him and we smile at each other but we don't say anything. ugh i just wish we could but we can't risk it. the teacher introduced herself and we started working on something when i felt a hand on my thigh

"corbyn what are you doing?" i whispered "i'm just trying to get you to calm down, i know when you're stressed because your leg starts shaking" he whispered "oh right thanks" i whispered as i started to calm down

finally the end of the school day, i look around because jamie is supposed to be picking me up but he isn't here yet and it's been twenty minutes. walking it is.

i get home and walk inside to where danielle was with emma and our mother "hey love" my mother said "hi mother" i said putting my bag down "i thought jamie was picking you up" danielle said "yeah i thought that too" i said picking emma up "maybe he's working late" our mother said "hello beautiful girl" i said as i tickled emma a little

after a little i go up to my room and get changed into something more comfortable, i also take off my makeup and shove my hair into a bun and start doing my homework until my mother shouts me. i go downstairs and help her set the table, jamie is now home and well danielle doesn't look very happy

we sit around the dinner table and start eating but honestly i wasn't really hungry, i haven't been for a few days now but people keep commenting on my weight and how i've lost so much so i force myself to eat

"so, grace how was your day?" danielle asked "it was okay i guess" i said not looking up from my food "come on tell us a little more" my mother said "there's nothing to tell" i said "well what lesson's did you have? who did you have them with?" she asked "i had science with corbyn besson. is that what you wanted to hear?" i asked "we do not say that name in this house do you understand me?!" my mother shouted "y-yes mother. sorry mother" i apologised immediately
