great. i've been awake all night and now i need to get ready to go to school so i quickly get ready but then my phone dings so i look and see i have a message from corbyn

wow you're awake early

no i just finished getting ready for school

i quietly go downstairs and get my things and leave the house to meet corbyn, i go to our spot and see corbyn sat waiting so i walk over to him

"hey" i said "finally you're here" he said "yep i'm here" i said sitting next to him "are you okay?" he asked "yeah just a little tired" i said laying my head on his shoulder "why don't we skip school today?" he asked "corbs you know we can't" i said

"why not?" he asked "school will call our parents and then they'll put two and two together and know we're together" i said "come on please plus if you go to school lera will just make things up about us" he said "that's why we need to go to school because if we don't then people will start to believe it" i said "come on grace please for me" he said "ugh okay fine" i said

we go back to corbyn's house and we get into his car and he starts driving, i have no idea where we're going but he said it will be a nice day just the two of us

we arrive at this beautiful mall and we go inside, we look around places and corbyn gets a few clothes and some new shoes whilst i get some new makeup. we then go out for some lunch and ice cream for dessert but it's now time to go back home

"i've had a really nice day today" i said "so have i" corbyn said "but what's gonna happen now?" i asked "what do you mean?" he asked "well with school and our parents" i said "we'll have to try and ignore each other in school but if you need me just message me and i'll be right there and well with our parents...we don't tell them anything" he said "okay yeah" i said

i get home and my mother is in the kitchen cooking whilst danielle is feeding emma "hey grace" danielle said "hey" i said "come here young lady" my mother said so i go to her and i know what this is about "yes mother?" i asked "go upstairs and do you homework and then come downstairs for food and we are having a family night" she said

i go upstairs to my room and get changed into some comfortable clothes and take my makeup off, i hear a knock at my door so i open it and danielle was stood there with emma

"yeah?" i asked "so are you gonna tell me where you were today?" she asked "what do you mean?" i asked "well lily messaged me and asked if you were at home and then your school called mom and luckily i answered" she said "what did they say?" i asked "you weren't in school so they wanted to know if you were at home and then they also informed me that you got into a fight yesterday with someone called lera clark" she said

"i didn't feel like going in" i said obviously lying "who is he?" she asked "what?" i asked "you were with a boy weren't you" she said "ummm...yeah" i said "fine don't tell me but i won't tell mom about you skipping school or the fight" she said "thankyou" i said as she left
