You've been living on whale Island your entire life and know everyone. There's Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Wilson. Charlie Davis, Yuto Cheng, Yue Chen, Fill and Till Jones. And so many more people! And well there's this other person named Gon Freecss.

You met his Aunt Mito but never him. You know about how his dad left and his mom? Who knows. As far as you know, Gon is the biggest mystery on this island. Your Grandma says he's very kind and your mom says he's super honest.

But still nothing, it's like being a detective. You have to catch him at the right time or else he's gone. Maybe today will be the day you meet him?

Your mom did tell you to give Ms. Mito her pot back and since Gon lives with Mito maybe you'll see him. "Oh, little Y/N, nice to see you!" Mito smiled, opening the door. "Hello Ms. Mito." You said, matching her warm energy. If Ms. Mito is nice then Gon must be the kindest person ever. "Please come in! Come in!" Mito said, waving you to come in. You did as she wanted and walked in looking around. Looking for a trace of Gon.

"Looking for something, Hun?" Mito asked. You shook your head, "No, ma'am." She raised her eyebrows. "Aunt Mito, is someone downstairs?" A voice asked. That must be Gon Freecss himself! "Yeah, why don't you come down and meet them!" Mito called to Gon. Gon came trotting down the stairs. Strange, you pictured Gon differently, you pictured him to be older but he's your age. "Hi, I'm Gon!" The boy yelled. You waved a little shyly, "Hi." You're not the shy type yet for some reason meeting this mystery boy has you acting shy.

"I'm...um" You said, trying to remember your name, "Y/N! I'm Y/N." Gon laughed a little but not too much, he didn't want to ruin what little pride you had, "Nice to meet you Y/N."

Every single time! Your dad forgot it was his and your mom's anniversary. Now you have to go gift hunting for him. You went to the nearest mall and went to Bath and Body Works. Your mom would probably like some perfume or something.

"Hi, welcome to Bath and Body Works!" The counter lady greeted. You didn't bother responding or even looking at her though, you're too tired. Tired of your dad always doing this, he's the most forgetful person you know. The worst thing is your mom is the worst person to shop for, if she likes it she'll say she likes it.

If she hates it she'll say she likes it. You couldn't help but notice more and more people coming into the store, last minute shopping? It is almost valentine's day, somewhat. It's still January but it's best to shop early.

Brown hair, blond hair, gray hair, red hair? Oof. Red hair guy? The poor thing. (No offense to red hairs!) And a white hair boy. White hair boy? How does a boy have white hair? People usually get white hair when they're old.

The boy caught you looking at him which by normal reaction you ducked down. You went back to scanning the perfumes. Sand? What kind of perfume smells like sand? "Ew, what kind of perfume smells like sand." A voice echoed your thoughts. You turned to see the white hair boy. "I know right, it's super weird." You said, speaking before you thought. You blushed of embarrassment. "Exactly, water would smell better than sand." The boy laughed. You laughed too, Nice. Who knew that you shouldn't think at all and everything would work out?
