Heyyyyyyyyyy~ Good to be back, not going to type much because my hands hurt after this one lol.

Optimus POV

We exit the ground bridge to find Unicron standing atop a ledge holding a massive chunk of Dark Energon. His eyes were emotionless as he stared us down, unblinking. All I got from the bond was fierce hatred that burned down to my core. I felt a swell of emotion, desperate to have my conjux back with me again, yearning to have Megatron's presence with me again. Swiftly, I closed off the bond, attempting to distance myself from Unicron.

"Bare witness, children of Primus as I plunge your world into the darkness of which you shall never return from. All efforts to hinder me will only result in your demise, so face your doom."

Unicron monologs, raising the dark energon above his head. I make a desperate dash for Unicron, trying to stop him before he creates an army of undead predicons. I transform, pulling into maximum overdrive to reach him in time. Some of the vehicons pulled ahead of me, their flying vehicular modes giving them a speed advantage. Reaching closer, Unicron senses the pressure and slams the dark energon straight into the ground. A subsequent purple shockwave travels through the ground and air, knocking the vehicons out of the sky and causing the rest of us to spin out of control. I transform into a roll and end up on my pedes, watching the ground alight with a menacing purple glow. Cracks appeared on the surface, and then, all at once, it went quiet. I attempt to move, but a wave of dizziness sends me to my peds; I cannot tell if it is my previous ailment causing my issues or if it is the massive wave of dark energon.

The ground groans and shakes, patches moving aside as reanimated corpses move again. Their mangled cybermass peeling off of their frames while their eyes shine a dark, twisted purple. They wriggle against each other, steadying their pedes. Unicron mounts one of the bigger predicons, riding it like a trained pet. One makes a swing for me; its massive claws barely miss me as I dodge out of the way. I stand and fight viciously, blocking blows and cutting the undead into smaller pieces so they cannot return from their second death. I hear the sounds of struggle behind me, presumably my team rallying behind me, also attempting to survive the current battle. I strain myself, pushing through the fatigue that weighs me down and threatens to bring me to my knees.

Fighting Unicron's hordes takes great effort; between the effects of the dark energon and the power of the predicons reanimated, I feel myself tiring. My guard drops momentarily and a predicon lands a hit to my chassis. I fall onto my back, the blow knocking my senses from me. I lay there momentarily, and in a flash of blind panic, I catch a predicon talon moments before it could embed itself in my neural net. I push the talon straight up with all my might, and at the moment the prediction hangs in the air, I cut through its spark chamber, willing myself to separate the spark from the being. In a moment of clarity, I realized that the jolt of panic was not mine but Megatron's, as he was able to break free of Unicron's control briefly before it was quickly silenced once more.

A predicon grabbed my arm in its mouth and flung me, I sailed through the air, landing unceremoniously on the ground, faceplate in the cybermass. I felt a predicon servo on my back before it was quickly removed. I turned over and watched, and the predicons surrounding me suddenly turned away and headed toward the rest of the bots. I attempt to get to my peds, but a sharp kick on my already damaged chassis brings me back to the floor. Unicron looms over me, his energy dark and his hatred unrelenting. I recognize how familiar this situation is; though Megatron and I have been fighting for millennia, however, I thought I would never again face him again in battle, even if it was just his body and not his mind. Unicron sends his blade down amming for my spark chamber; I sweep his peds out from under him, and in a moment, I am standing again, facing off with Unicron for the second time.
