Betrothed To A Princess

Actions speaks louder

"At last I can have all day doing nothing" (sergeant Leandro's words of relief as he lies his back to his hammock getting ready to procrastinate all day.)

"Sergeant be at ready at 0800 we have an emergency!"

Shouted by the captain to disrupt sgt. Leandro's peaceful moment with his hammock.

Spoffff, banggggggg! The sergeant tripped off as he reacted like a disturbed bird on it's nest,

"hahahahaha look at you, relax sgt it's just a prank, enjoy your day off but make sure you're done with the reports by tomorrow okay and also be alert while taking a rest we don't know when the enemy will strike!" approval to enjoy the day off but also a reminder by the captain to his boys as he walks to his room also ready to enjoy his day off."

Meanwhile ......

"I am so excited to see again the kids smiles and hear their laughs when we play that game divine, What's its called again?" (A joyful word followed by a question by the princess to Divine)

"It's called 'open the basket close the basket' my princess" Divine replied. "Oh yeah that one! i can't wait to play that with them after we finish our medical mission."

Not far away.....

"Sultan Anur's instructions is very clear, make the ambush before they can get to the medical mission to avoid getting the children get caught in between and avoid having casualties. Remember this is a fake ambush and take note our Princess Crisminah is on that vehicle just make it loud and quick. Besides the Princess escorts knew about this one so there's no room for errors"  (the leader of ambush team made it clear to his colleagues about the fake ambush they are about to do.)

Bang bang bang bang!

"Ambush ambush!, protect the princess! Everyone get cover"
(Leo one of princess Crisminah's escorts shouted.)

Bang bang bang bang bang! The escorts returned fire and signals the bandits to withdraw already as his subordinate calls the army for back up.

"We need back up! over, we need back up! We are being ambushed on the road before brgy. Matangad over,"

blagadags! The door of the captain bangs in the wall as he hears the radio.

"Move move move! Your heard it! we have a situation move move move!"

Captain Jovencio shouted to his men while also getting suited up.

"What's the location of the ambush?" (Capt. Asked)

"approximately kilometer and a half from here sir!" (sergeant Leandro replied. And just like a snap the driver quickly drove the military vehicle in just a couple of minutes and they arrived at the scene.)

"Is everything alright?"
(One of the sergeant asked.)

"Yes everyone is fine and the bandits fled right away as returned fire" (Leo answered one of the princess's escorts.)

"Sgt. Leandro bring with you five man do a pursuit operation, you sgt. Joey and three other stay behind with me to pacify the area" (authoritative command by the captain to his men!)

"SIR YES SIR!"
(The sgt.'s in unison as they replied to the officer's command.)

"My god he is so hot while taking command" (out of the blues comment by Divine thrilled by the arrival of the captain and the team.)

"Can you hear yourself Divine?! we almost got shot and everything and that's the first thing on your mind right now? Seriously!" (Crisminah's words of disappointment to Divine.)

"But yes he is indeed very hot and charming" (Crisminah can't help but to tell herself how charming the captain.)

"Assist the doctor and the nurses and cover the princess" (the captain told his remaining men.)

"Ah thank you but I got the princess covered" (Leo's reply on the captain with a jealous look. "Let's move to the brgy. hall it is much safer there" again a command by the captain.)

Meanwhile. . . . . . .

"You and sgt. Carlos manuever to  the right while me and the others tail the bandits, don't engage okay just radio if you have a visual" (sgt. Leandro commanded the troops in pursuing the bandits that faked ambush the princess and her team.)

"Copy sergeant! let's move" (replied by sgt. Carlos.)

"We are following their tracks for almost an hour now sgt. I do believe they are gone now" (one of the soldiers told sgt. Leandro while getting exhausted on the pursuit.)

"Just be still if we are tired so are they!" (a conclusion statement by sgt.Leo as they slowly keep on following the bandits.)

'Bzzzz, bzzzz (static radio beeps on the back of sgt. Leandro)

"Talk to me!"

"Sarge we have a visual! over, we have a visual" (sgt. Carlo's whispering voice on the radio.)

"What's your position over?" (Sgt. Leandro replied. )
"Point 5 clicks north west over!" (Carlo replied.)

"Hold your position we are near just wait for my signal! over and out" (Sgt. Leandro's last reply while they move towards the location.)

"Hoooo that was tiring but at least we did successfully what Sultan's Anur order to us right?!" (head of the bandits sentence while taking a rest from a long run not knowing they where getting tailed by the army.)

"You Nazim radio the safe house and tell Sultan Anur we are heading back and everything has been taken care off!" (Order by the bandits leader to Nazim the youngest member.)

'Bragadagagagag! Bang bang bang, togsheeeng! Blagag!'

Before Nazim can reach out for his radio a volume of fire unleashes into their position by the soldiers.

"Get down and take cover! Locate where is fire coming from!"

"From the high grounds and also on the tree's behind us" (Nazim replied while firing his rifle in response to their pursuers.)

"Retreat, retreat!" (the leader shouts to his men.)

"What about Nazim he got shot on the legs!" (One bandit replied)
"Recover him"

'bang bang bang! Gunfire continues.

"It's too risky brother!" (One of the bandit shouted to the leader.)

"Let's move we can't afford to get shot and be captured right now!"
(The leader ordered his men as they retreat and fades away into the depths of the forest.)

A couple of minutes later........

"Sgt. Carlos secure the perimeter, you sgt. you have the first aid kit right? Treat the wounds of that bandit while asking him necessary things."

Bzzz bzzz,

"Captain we are heading back now the details of this hot pursuit will be given to you on the spot report when we arrive, over and out!"

"Okay boys stay sharp! let's head back to the captain's location now, move!" (Sgt. Leandro's authoritative order to the boys.)
